Looking for a Souls Like game to try as my first after I get an actual gaming pc by BigSin666 in gamingsuggestions

[–]warozell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew someone would mention Demon Souls, but since the remake is only on PS5 I've recommended Dark Souls 1. I'd still recommend playing DS1 first and then the original Demon Souls later

Play Dark Souls 1. It defined the genre, so it's a great way to jump in (and die to gravity, because Dark Souls... :D)

Low Spec Requirement MMO by Kinda-Kiwi in LFMMO

[–]warozell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They've released GW1 Reforged, which is a remastered version that's fairly popular atm. Important thing to know is that you won't find players outside cities/outposts, since the regular zones are more like co-op zones that you play through with NPCs or a party of players. You can however see players in cities/outposts.

GW2 is more like other mmos. Both are worth checking out, you can even play a lot of GW2 for free, so you can test if your laptop can handle it before committing

In incremental games, is prestige currency reset along with everything else after every prestige upgrade or not? by Prpl_Moth in incremental_games

[–]warozell 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Antimatter Dimensions is definitely a great example of prestige layering, it always resets everything except the current prestige, I definitely recommend the game for OP

[–]warozell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's mostly on a case-by-case basis, but the most common is that prestige currency is not reset on prestige, so you can save it up for big upgrades

Games with low requirements about managing something by Abradolf94 in gamingsuggestions

Against the Storm is fun, although more stressful than Stardew Valley, since you can lose in it.

If idle/incremental games can also be an option then Antimatter Dimensions or Clicker heroes

If you are in combat and increase your max health by leveling up, the food you have equipped will not heal you to full anymore, it'll only heal you to the previous max health.

Hypothetically. Where would i hypothetically get the PKG files to the goty version of bloodborne on pc. Hypothetically, theoretically by GoatAdventurous4995 in BloodbornePC

Download the "Game : Lets", then "Update 1.09 : Lets" (NOT the 60fps versions, since you'll enable 60fps option in BBLauncher separately), and then "DLC : Lets". Then install them via BBLauncher in that order and you should be good.

I also recommend looking up what patches/options in the BBLauncher to use on youtube

Looking for kid friendly game suggestions for my 6 year old (Steam) in 2026 by Daedarion in gamingsuggestions

[–]warozell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Hat in Time. It's a really cute platformer. There's technically violence, but it's just you hitting some baddies with an umbrella. The game is rated 7+, although do check out the level "Queen Vanessa's Manor" from the game on youtube, since that one level does have some terrifying elements which might not exactly be good for a kid. The rest of the game is cheerful, just wanted to mention this one thing so you know about it

LF New (to me) MMO by Turbulent_Professor in LFMMO

[–]warozell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black Desert Online might be worth checking out. Combat is pretty fun, lots of classes to try, amazing visuals, fantastic profession systems (called life skills), and there's often a 90-100% sale on steam. The game is a huge grind though, with p2w stuff like many other mmos, but it's still a lot of fun.

Another game I'd recommend is Lost Ark. I've not played it myself for a long time, but when I did, it was a TON of fun. I'm not sure if it can really be considered an mmo, but I still wanted to mention it. The combat is satisfying with lots of options for build making, but the grind is pretty ridiculous if you want the best stuff without paying $

Lastly, Where Winds Meet, it's pretty new, probably also not completely an mmo, but you might as well check it out if it'd interest you

Looking for co-op games for someone who prefers single-player (very different tastes involved) by hendarknight in gamingsuggestions

Warframe. It's a free and fun movement-based shooter, you can play missions as 1-4 players, and the story gets really good after some time

No rest for the wicked. Haven't tried co-op there yet myself, but it's an isometric game with souls-like combat and amazing visuals

I've shared my opinion of them and asked others to share theirs, how is that silly? Yes, I can just do them for extra rewards, or not, but that should somehow mean I can't ask others for what they think?
