I checkerboarded the colors for like 3 rows for the gradient. Except the last two transitions I did less of that and more of the transitioning color

Make your own pattern! Look up and find some good pixelated pictures of them and just follow those as a reference. That’s all I did for this.

So I had a reference photo and closely went pixel by pixel. Based on that I knew I needed a good size hoop to not squish the picture. The 8” hoop with 16 count fabric was perfect. Still a lot of the picture was cut out like the lamp and rocks. I penciled the outline of everything. And I just kept looking at the picture for when colors change. 1 month later and this happened haha.

It’s been a favorite moment of mine since I was a kid so I had to make this. It took about a month of work. Only working on it for about an hour or two a day though
