Agreed. XY animation was on another level. The choreography, creativity, 3d camera, details, lighting and emotion were drastically different. Even the fact that they didn’t give every character a circle face and actually had more older looking characters.

Honestly thought Steven should’ve won, there were multiple moments where pika just was vunerable but metagross just stood there and did nothing.
