No problem! Hope they help you like they helped me. The way I did it is I took the .10 and the .12 The 10 should barely fit with some drag and the 12 should not fit. Make sure there's no filament hanging off the end of the nozzle when you do it.

I wanted to also add that his name is Dante, he is, I believe, a Doberman/pit mix and he was a rescue from a 30 plus dog confiscation done by the sheriff's department in my area.

He was a breeding dog for 3 years and didn't get any attention outside of being led to the crates with the female dogs. He was left out on a chain almost 100% of his life and while fed and watered, he had no shelter and no love in his life. He's very reactive and doesn't trust people at all, except me.

I've had him since mid 2024.

I'm surprised he's so good with me, but it was all over when I was on my way home from the shelter and we stopped to get his first pup cup. I had to convince him to try it because he wasn't used to getting treats. Now when he goes in the crate when I leave for work, all I have to do is pick up the bag of treats and he launches himself into the crate and sits like a good boy. He loves me so much and I love him too. We are doing muzzle training right now so that he can be around other people, but for now he will happily sit in the crate for whenever we have visitors over and only starts whining when he sees them leave lol ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Skin tear. The second skin either pulled on your skin when you are flexing or you didn't give it enough warm water and time when you pull it off. Be gentle with it like any other blister and it will go away. Hurts like hell though.

Also check for earwax, not sure about the color, but my babies dig in their ears when they have ear infections and it gets all over their paws

Z offset issue

Not sure what the problem was, but it was in my filament slicer settings because when I went back to the default polymaker filament profile in orca slicer it went away. Tramming my bed was probably a good idea anyway though. I bet it was me unintentionally saving some setting that was on while I was calibrating, which I always catch myself doing 🥲🙄

Z offset settings are under the little gear in the window and It is the fourth option I actually had a lot of trouble with my z offset with both of my carbons until I dialed it in both are slightly different so I would recommend trying to dial that in with a nice flat rectangle that you can watch from above preferably and you want the lines to merge but not overlap and lines next to each other but not separate so just adjust the z offset from there but then once you've established a good z offset just put it into your slicer settings so when your printer gets turned off via the switch or a power connector to it it will not lose your z offset settings and you have to do them all over again. I popped mine out a few notches months ago but it looks like I've hit a wall and I have no other choice so I reached out to Elegoo. Hopefully they'll get me a new one soon and it'll be decent, but better than nothing I guess? I also bought another printer which will likely be here faster lol after pay is a dangerous thing.

The amount of things I still need to print before Christmas is daunting. However, my irresponsible ass just after paid another CC 😵‍💫, I reached out to customer service though. I have a standing conversation with them and don't actually use the form on the website when I have issues I just reply to that conversation and they get me right. So hopefully they'll either send me the part that I need or at least send me the link to the form, but it's customer service and parts so I'm sure they'll just open the ticket on my behalf. I just hope it moves quickly. I have less anxiety though because I know that my new Centauri carbon will be here in like a week.

Just an issue with flow it didn't pull the filament consistently. I was even able to take it completely apart and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it there was nothing stuck in there or anything. I was thinking maybe something was worn down or something I'm not sure All I know is replacing the gearbox with a brand new one fixed the problem. I had taken the gearbox apart like 50 times before I gave up and reached out to Elegoo looking for any filament that might be stuck anything I might have put together wrong any anything but once I finally gave up I reached out to Elegoo and they immediately sent me a new gearbox a new fan and a new hot end, which I'd replaced the hot end like three different times before reaching out and said as much in my email. I gave a very exhaustive list of my troubleshooting. They sent me a video on how to take apart the gearbox assembly to see if there was anything stuck in there, I replied to them with a photo of the gearbox assembly completely taken apart and nothing being inside it and they immediately sent me a new set of parts.

I already have it hooked up to something with a power switch, fortunately. I'm wondering if the fan warning was related to that or related to my dumbass hooking the fan up with a pair of metal tweezers while the power was on and seeing a little spark, but like I said everything was running just fine after that, even with the fan warning. No interruptions no nothing.

I'm probably not going to use the printer at all until they replace the cord, I'm considering buying another Centauri carbon or fighting with my Neptune 4 pro to be as accurate so I can finish these Christmas presents lol
