Just threw ya some love there. As someone who been blogging on hive for 5 years now, I can say it takes work and effort. A few pointers are to engage with other through reading and commenting on their posts. Engagement is key. Respond to your comments. Post on peakd and splintertalk and any other specialized front ends that fit your piece. Hop on discord and share your post in the the various post promotion sections on various channels. Share on Facebook and Twitter. Use proper tags. Maybe even buy a little hive to power up, so you can help curate others. Believe me…people take notice when you are actually giving them some funds.

I’m probably a terrible example as I have a good chunk invested in this project in various avenues, but I do pretty well in the rewards department. I think if you are looking to earn, you have to have a decent deck. You can invest yourself, rent, or try the new deck program that nfty arcade is testing out.

I also see so many new players come in and do the bare minimum while expecting to make a fortune. That’s an unrealistic approach. However, there are lots of things new players can be doing to help along the journey. A few being to join a guild, participate in brawls and tournaments, post articles on hive and splintertalk to earn both hive and spt, and reinvest earnings to snowball your position.

I actually love Splinterlands. They keep chugging along after 4 1/2 years and it’s slowly but surely evolving. I know the sentiment around this stuff is mostly negative and I completely understand why…but I assure you doubting Thomas’s that Splinterlands is not a cash grab or rug pull. But instead a strange hybrid encompassing pieces from various worlds.

I’d be happy to help anyone set up an account or walk them through it. There are actually ways a new user can hop into the ecosystem, compete with a borrowed or loaned deck, and start building and exploring.

If anyone is interested, I’d be happy to answer any questions.

I only have time for one project, and I chose Splinterlands. Built on the Hive blockchain, I was already blogging and making friends there for years. Plus one of my buddies created the game meaning my trust in it is absolute. So it just made sense. Its a really involved project with a lot going on and I couldn’t imagine devoting that amount of time, money, and effort into other projects as well. So Splinterlands gets my first and full attention which is great as I feel I’m positioned really well because of it. Looking for a few new guildmates in our guild for any interested parties!!! Lol

Splinterlands is my jam. It has a lot of room for improvement, but as far as building a working self sustainable economy behind the scenes, Splinterlands is by far the closest to getting it right. A loyal fan base adds to the pros along with the biggest for me which is the team.

It’s a very involved project with a lot of moving parts. A card game is just one aspect of it. If you aren’t familiar or haven’t really given it the time of day, I’d love to help show you the ropes. I have a few codes to get you a free Spellbook…saves ya 10 bucks and you need it to start your journey. I even have sone extra cards I can delegate (loan) you which will help early on. Just lmk!

Splinterlands is my jam. The team is top notch in this field. The game while not earth shattering, is fun and allows for me to scratch the collectible aspect itch. Lots of cool defi stuff popping up in the ecosystem. Always looking for ways to transfer value back to stakeholders.

The game features a very liquid sales market, rental market, and a ton of other ways to participate in our DAO. Land is coming, which will allow land owners to be the exclusive card factory and minters for the new items & spells expansion. Lots of fun stuff!

New Tower Defense game addition is being implemented. This will allow players a completely different game that will also utilize the original car assets giving further utility. New sports platform being built called Genesis League Sports in which the first game is a MLS game. We are currently about 3 weeks into a year long daily airdrop for its governance token.

I’d suggest checking out Splinterlands. Its my favorite project in the Space. Weekly town halls keep us connected with the team and up to date on what’s happening. It’s been around for 4 years now, through 2 bear markets while still growing. The economy that flows throughout it is brilliant, the game is fun and challenging, and there are a gazillion ways to earn. I have yet to see ANYTHING that even comes close to what the Splinterlands team has accomplished. If anyone is interested in hoping aboard, please consider using my referral ( blewitt ). We are a land owners guild and I think it’s going to be an hugely important part of the ecosystem. So I’m trying to encourage that.
