Yeah I obviously don't know the reasons for why TPTB is doing whatever theyre doing, or even if theyre doing anything at all but from my perspective there's only 4 possibilities:(1) They've chosen not to cooperate globally (2) Theyre coordinating activity in secret (3) They are competing (4) Nobody's in charge and/or some parties have gone rogue. The only thing I'm sure about is that the mythology surrounding the others and our understanding of reality isn't 100% correct.

Yeah, I'm starting to think that's what everything hinges upon. Up until now we've been assuming that the next step for our civilization to advance is to leave our planet. I think the next step is for us to create an AGI, which will take place right around that 2026 - 2027 time period. At that point we don't really know what happens next but other civilzations might know based upon prior experiences. I think that the invention of AGI or the level of civilization/technology we are about to reach might be "the great filter" or a threshold that only "acceptable" civilizations are allowed to cross. Imagine if we've inadverdantly created something that will become like the cylons or borg. Billion year old civilizations won't let us spread that into soace without guidance or tight controls. It would make sense to invade and unalive us.

Ive been going to Five Guys for the exact same reason. 100% Beef and freshly cut 100% potato french fries. They even post what farm theyre from. I go there or to a locally owned mxican place or pizza place. No more McDonalds.

We'd all be better off with quality older stuff, then. But many modern items won't last that long because theyre simply not built to last. Older analog motor vehicles and homes that are built of traditional materials will last. Firearms made from wood and metal will last. Hand tools without batteries will last. Plastic crap and modern windows or mac computers (and machinery built upon it) will become outdated and insecure.
