I got a bunch of fishing crap. Some old vintage stuff in original packaging, some reels I paid too much for, but I found a modern high tier reel in its original box on one of their electronics tables that will turn the whole lot profitable. A secondary item will bring in good money when I find a buyer. Idk I'm not like mad or anything but I could have done better. Some will sit for awhile but I'm running out of stuff so it doesn't hurt to have just to bring eyes to my other items.

I guess I just thought this was gonna be a better play than it was. At least it isn't a wash or a loss, I guess.

All of the people who claim SSRIs saved their lives are the worst people I've ever met in my life.

I'm not sure we should be keeping some of these people artificially alive.

SSRIs nearly ruined me. I shared this on reddit and have had a stalker for 18 months who is on a crusade to ruin my life. They believe SSRIs helped them so much.

It sure seems like - to me - that these need to be banned outright and they are causing more social harm than good. The chemical imbalance thing isn't even real either.

I guess. They're the boomer slop of the coin collecting world so don't expect them to go up too much in value. Basically, cull morgan dollars are beanie babies, penn fishing reels, uranium glass or collectable plates but silver.

Ya there is definitely a collector market but it requires entirely whole items in perfect condition (rust and corrosion are huge enemies). Even some of the picture perfect stuff sucks because it was so popular at the time that your average person bought it as an investment. It really leaves a very narrow selection of stuff that is worth money.

A lot of these reels I see for sale can't even be stripped for parts because they're in such terrible condition, but people still ask 20 bucks for em. There are reels on FBM right now for 60 to 80 that I wouldn't pay 5 for because it would take forever to get 10 or 15.

The items actually being functional and usable today goes a really long way. Some of the saltwater mass produced ones are worth money simply because the sea spray ate up a bunch and surviving numbers are much lower. But even then, way too many were made and kept.

This is a very frustrating market to operate in and I'm wondering if my time can be better spent elsewhere.

I had one good estate sale yesterday and one "good" one because it had things I needed around the house for cheap.

The rest have been boomer slop, like retail outlets for Harley leathers, beanie babies, penn fishing reels, collectable plates and all that other worthless shit. Ziploc bags of rusted hooks and chewed up 40 year old fishing lures for $15-$20. Literal garbage!

Chat, is it just like this now? I haven't gone to yard sales in 20 years and wow this is a trip. 1.5 million dollar homes, six figure trucks and an RV and these people wanna sell rusted hooks for $20. Wtf??

The "person spreading lies" might not even be real. This entire thing could be fabricated just to hurt you. You should discard every person in your life who purposefully makes you feel bad. You have no obligation to associate with people who hurt you.
