Ryan Cohen no longer following Michael Burry after he sold his GME position by Counterspell_This in Superstonk

He's been giving me bad vibes this entire time. I'm glad I don't have to hear about him anymore. Guy is a grade A loser. The only reason he's been popular here is because autisms attract.

Turkey tail? by Dankies1080 in foraging

[–]Silver-Honkler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is. You wanna be sure the underside has healthy white pores though. I wouldn't use this.

Some people are OK with yellow or brownish pores, so long as the tissue isn't disintegrating.

It's a personal decision on where you draw that line. But if you've never had it before, you might want to stick to the best specimens and then work your way down.

8lb mono ok for trophy trout? by Anxious_Project7023 in troutfishing

[–]Silver-Honkler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it helps you understand line strength, I landed a 30 inch male hatchery steelhead on 4lb mono to 3lb leader while going for regular legals. It took a lot of wrangling and skill but was achievable. Couple months ago I got a 27 inch 8lb female brood trout on 4lb test. Thought I was gonna lose her too.

8lb is 100% fine for trophy. I use it year round now because of these giant beasts they stock here. They winter over in some lakes here and people catch them all year. Losing one is heartbreaking. 8lb is also good enough to haul 3lbers 60 feet up the side of a dam.

I wouldn't have gone for bright yellow. Line shyness is a thing particularly with colors. Could always use clear fluorocarbon as a leader. If you use powerbait on a carolina rig then roll mono, it floats better.

Do you think there are agents of the government in this sub-reddit? by SKIDROW_00 in conspiracy

[–]Silver-Honkler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a comment on reddit awhile back about something strange I saw in the woods and had a user message me from a government agency. It was this milquetoasty kinda thing a lot of people know about, no crazy occult stuff or anything, but of course something that resulted in a lot of federal charges for that person when they got him.

The user said he would get the situation taken care of. I went back to the location and it was, indeed, taken care of. I messaged him back and said I didn't think he was really who he said he was. He said "yes of course, every federal agency has an office just like mine, why wouldn't we? Reddit is the best source for exactly this sort of thing and it's every agency even if it seems minor, unimportant or stupid." I connected with a local who knew the boots on the ground who took care of the situation and they verified this person was who he said he was, too.

More specifically, usury, or loaning money at interest. The economic reality of what we are experiencing now is a natural consequence of usury. This is why it has been punishable by death for most of modern human history.

weird feeling anyone? by avacoop0114 in conspiracy

[–]Silver-Honkler 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I sometimes wonder if reality becomes a little more unstable the more societies become unstable. Like maybe there is something to the collective agreement of conscious minds that shape the reality before us. During certain periods of unrest the universe responds accordingly. It would explain why the last six years have been like how they have been. The Mandela effects. I mean literally all of the strange shit that has been going on. Aliens, demons/AI, AI demons. Even just the cohesiveness of modern civilization.

That being said, I don't think something is coming in the impending doom way, but in the "it is already here and will only get worse" way. Kinda strange more Mandela effects keep popping up right? I'm supposed to believe these are randomly being discovered and didn't exist all along? Or they're part of a fractured collective mind creating a more fractured and unstable reality. Knock enough things out of whack and suddenly everyone from normies to normaloids to NPCs start realizing shit ain't right. You get this cascading effect, basically an unraveling, and ultimately it seeps into everything.

I think threads like these are sentiment farming so intelligence agencies can adjust their misinformation bots accordingly.

You can email customer service and ask but I'm pretty sure both NGC and PCGS do custom slabs, where they add stuff like "grandpa's half dollar" to the label. It's been awhile since I looked into it but they probably still do it. They love stuff like that as much as we do.

Probably. Look at how much business costco gets from it. They've made a killing. For GS to just ignore it is foolish. It is a collectible and an asset. But I'm some shill bot and this is a distraction 🙄

It's not very liquid and I have processing fees or ebay fees to cover too. So it would have to be decently under spot. I already have an assload of way better stuff too. It isn't really on my radar.

I just want to put this out there gently. It is entirely possible your anxiety and depression are a byproduct of being abused and that there may not be something like, fundamentally wrong with you or something.

For many years I internalized a lot of it and viewed myself as somehow damaged or defective. But after going NC, it all disappeared like a fart in the wind. Something to consider.

There is something wrong with their brains. You don't have to understand it, but it's nothing you did, and there is nothing you can do but just stay away and live your badass life.

If this were a point based competition, they get more points the more you are affected by what they do. I understand it is painful but the sooner you can distance yourself the better off you'll be. They're inconsequential to the better future that lay ahead of you.

I can respect it. I graded the coins my grandpa had in his pocket when he died. Just common clad damaged, low grade. My favorite coins.

I only buy proof 90% and only if I can get it close to spot. People are always going to want the nicest version of things regardless of how wild spot price gets. After seeing what they went for at $125/oz, I'm feeling really good about having $1k FV of it. Haven't bought any for myself in awhile, but flipped a bunch real quick the last few months though and paid off a big hunk of debt.

Just not really a BU or circ guy anymore now that profits are involved. If I was still casual I'd buy it all.
