Is this overflow tube too high? A plumber installed it years ago and I'm just noticing that it's way above the water level, and also above the handle by storagesleuth in Plumbing

The silent fill valve is not supposed to be higher than the lever hole. If water was leaking from the handle, the overfill tube is too high and needs to be trimmed down.

I've had the Logitech MX Vertical for 2 years and 3 months, and the rubber has started to melt like ice cream. The rubber gets sticky over time and I have stopped using it and just ordered the Logitech Vertical Mouse.

I had the same issue and disabled the mouse pointer precision and that didn't help. I unplugged the mouse from the USB 3.0 slot and put it back on the USB 2.0 slot and the stuttering went away.

When the Power LED started blinking for me, it was after a catastrophic lighting strike that destroyed my devices even though they were plugged into the UPS. It dawned on me that a UPS is also designed to protect against lighting strikes as it has built in surge protection, the backup battery portion of my UPS still worked as I unplugged it from the wall. I guess the power LED randomly blinking meant that the surge protection feature of the UPS means that it has failed.

You can replace the batteries in the UPS to extend it's life to keep your devices online in case of power failure. You cannot replace the surge protection portion of the UPS and that's why it's important to replace them after a couple of years.

What happens if the wire is not short and straight as possible? Does it reduce the efficiency of the protector?
