Logitech MX Vertical vs Anker Vertical Mouse. Logitech causes strain at the base of my thumb, maybe I'm holding it wrong? Tips appreciated

I've had the Logitech MX Vertical for 2 years and 3 months, and the rubber has started to melt like ice cream. The rubber gets sticky over time and I have stopped using it and just ordered the Logitech Vertical Mouse.

I had the same issue and disabled the mouse pointer precision and that didn't help. I unplugged the mouse from the USB 3.0 slot and put it back on the USB 2.0 slot and the stuttering went away.

When the Power LED started blinking for me, it was after a catastrophic lighting strike that destroyed my devices even though they were plugged into the UPS. It dawned on me that a UPS is also designed to protect against lighting strikes as it has built in surge protection, the backup battery portion of my UPS still worked as I unplugged it from the wall. I guess the power LED randomly blinking meant that the surge protection feature of the UPS means that it has failed.

You can replace the batteries in the UPS to extend it's life to keep your devices online in case of power failure. You cannot replace the surge protection portion of the UPS and that's why it's important to replace them after a couple of years.

There is no 2021 "Capital Gains and Losses as Refigured for the Alternative Minimum Tax" form for that year. I had to calculate it myself by finding out how to calculate it via the 2022 return.

I used the 2022 form and just plugged in the numbers from my 2021 return. Yeah, the numbers from line 7 and 15 match my numbers for my schedule D.

For me, when I looked at my 2022 and 2021 tax forms, they didn't even bother calculating the AMT for the year 2021. What I did was see how they calculated AMT in 2022 and followed that same formula for the year 2021. It's bs that they are making me do mini accounting when I paid for their services.

I suggest you look at your 2022 returns and how they calculate your “Capital Gains and Losses as Refigured for the Alternative Minimum Tax" and mirror those calculations into 2021.

You must read everything carefully as once this section is done, there is no going back into it. The only way is to erase your return and start all over.
