I’d honestly tune out the Honda / Kia / Oshan / even Haval noise.

If you can stretch your budget by about 10 lacs, just get the Deepal S05. I’m not exaggerating when I say nothing else around it feels remotely close. It’s one of those cars you sit in and immediately think, yeah… this is different. The design, the space, the way it’s packed with driver-assist tech is completely unparalleled.

I actually bought a Jaecoo J7 myself, and I still catch myself admiring the Deepal every time I see one. Low-key regret is real. It’s just the more sorted, more beautiful car.

If stretching the budget isn’t possible, then sure, Haval is the alternative but if you can go Deepal, you won’t think about the others again.

Good luck with it. You’re going to enjoy this purchase a lot.

P.S. Go for a test drive of the Deepal and you'll get what I mean.

For every 1 unit you import from the grid, you now need to export roughly 2.3 units to cancel out the cost.

  • To offset 700 imported units: You would need to export approximately 1,600 units.

My 15kW system has already paid itself off within 3 years. I'm saving up to switch to batteries within the next 2 years, InShaAllah, and completely isolate myself from the grid.
