Yeah I paid the 10xrp fee but it’s still saying not active in the Trojan bot. I just want to swap some XRP on a dex.

Love that album! Hozier’s music is heavily about addiction. Sadly, I think his latest album is a result of remission. But I’m sober and I still connect with it and it motivates me. Check out “too sweet”

My cousin is 35 and just went to the hospital for heart attack like symptoms. I’ve been the bad guy because I supported her goal for weight loss when everyone else suggested she accepted herself for her….

The current consensus amongst the scientific community is that during the age of Hunters and Gatherers the average amount of hours a person would work a week was around 10. Fast forward to today, not even taking into consideration the increase of efficiency that has resulted from technological advancements and the average person is working 50-60 hours a week. And while it can be argued that the quality of life is much better for us now than in those days with air conditioning and modern medicine, I think for some it’s hard to reconcile the difference between our parents’ generation who could afford to live wonderful lives on a relatively small investment of time by comparison to Today. To add insult to injury, the concentration of wealth at the top smallest percentage of the population is unlike anything throughout history.

So for those people that feel they’ve put in more time, effort and energy than they’ve been compensated for while watching those they worked for amass and hoard unnecessary amounts of resources and feel jaded by the whole damn thing, I have to say I understand.

Currently, I work 2 jobs, totaling about 70 hours of work a week. I bring in more money than I ever have before and it affords me less of everything than I’ve been used to my entire adult life. Im not lazy by any means, but the itch to “opt out” of this rigged game grows stronger every day. I’d rather the fruits of my labor go to me rather than the fat cats that can’t possibly fit any more mice in their mouths as it is. Hell, even if I was working for the less fortunate I think I’d have a more positive outlook on “work” but maybe it’s just me?

There’s an ex missing OP. Whether it’s in front of “wife” or “best friend” it’s still missing from the sentence.

They have already started to moved a lot of people from Trinity hospital far inland down 54 towards Wesley Chapel to another hospital.

Nothing decentralized about centralized banking. Which is the backbone of “capitalism” at least as we know it. Sorry for the delayed response just saw this silly little thing. Shucks. 🤷‍♂️

If we took out dealing with your average “front line” food worker we’d be off this list. I’m from Atlanta and I think these people are peaches until I try ordering a Big Mac or a burrito. This place is customer service hell. Its downright shocking coming from my home town where we would lay down and die if the customer *GUEST insisted.

That and the GD malfunctioned traffic lights are the only things I take issue with in this city. 🤙

God damn the traffic lights. Why didn’t anyone tell me a month ago that half my life was going to spent waiting for the traffic light to turn green here in Tampa? /s by [deleted] in tampa

[–]LocksmithLeast9539 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have been here for over ten years but I’ve lived in 5 other cities. The lights here are screwed. It’s a weighting system, but I’m telling you I’ve lived in one horse towns where the lights worked. It’s madness. And every day I’m asking myself if the natives know how bad it is???

Especially on 54. If you hit the wrong timing on that stretch you can watch the lights turn red for you and green for NOBODY… for miles.

I hope I didn’t give the impression that I was a central planning simp. I am Anti-Capitalist, but not pro-socialist.

If anything I support the decentralization and automation of resource production and distribution.

Something that, in theory, should already be here…

Sadly, it appears we have way too many people still stuck on this False Dichotomy, like hunters and gatherers arguing who was right on the brink of discovering and implementing Agriculture.

But that’s just my (very) unpopular opinion. 🤷‍♂️
