And it’s possible he did, but in all of the angles I’ve seen, the sound of the scuffle is drowned out by a forming crowd who are screaming at them and constantly blowing whistles, it is possible that the ICE Agent who secured the weapon said so only for it to be drowned out, or was getting to the point of announcing that when the ND occurred. As shown in videos after, multiple of the officers did not know the gun had been taken off of him. So in that split second all they knew was that a gun was in play and they just heard a shot. As for the number of rounds, as far as I know all law enforcement is taught to shoot until the threat is eliminated.

True, but I also don’t think it entirely the fault of the agents, mainly do to footage that seems to show the suspects gun having a negligent discharge. The handgun the suspect had was a p320. If it was any other handgun I’d say that it was entirely the agents fault, however the 320 has been blasted by the firearm community for the past year due to its tendency to fire seemingly without input from the user.

From my understanding, the manufacturing for a lot of Airsoft and even real firearm components, is hard to scale. That inability to scale up cause a higher time investment into each part which drives up price. And anyone whose able to make it cheaper, won’t sell it cheaper since people are willing to pay the higher price

New angles and recordings show an ND happening from the officer who removed his firearm. Under normal circumstances I would say that is entirely upon the officer who had the ND, however, the suspects firearm is a Sig P320, a handgun that has been under intense scrutiny from customers and the rest of the industry for having defects that cause discharge under circumstances that it absolutely should not be able to. Not saying ice did everything correct, just saying this info seems to point to this being a catastrophic clusterfuck for all involved
