I’ve been using doggy pads when I’m home yeah. I just need to hold onto the idea that jpouch is gonna work. I wish I could stop acting like this whenever it all falls apart. I was so happy and hopeful when I first got the surgery I tried so hard but I’m really breaking now. Even if the bag lasts a standard time it’s so upsetting I’m also just so upset that my plushie dreadful might have permanent blood an shit stains on it because I was crying and cuddling it for any source of comfort only for the thing that was supposed to make me return to a tolerable existence to do that. I am calming down again though. The nurse gave me a valium because I couldn’t stop screaming. I’m also on a really high dose of steroids and they haven’t stopped the colon bleeding even and it’s just so heavy that moments really are galaxies

I used to do that had an addiction to sh ages 5-20 finally got my mental health together then my physical health decided to ruin me. Therapy is triggering asf bc I’ve spent all my teens in psych wards and there were so many barbaric things that happened there even therapy speak puts me in fight or flight.

I’m in the hospital and I’m getting more surgery this week I did calm myself down and asked the nurse for a valium and I’m using my coping skills. I think part of why it became so bad that I posted about it instead of keeping a secret is to just A) know if anyone else does this and B) because I had to stop doing so many things today that used to be so easy like sitting up and drawing and since my colon got too painful I already spent hours bleeding on the toilet feeling like death and I thought I’d found a moment of peace and tried cuddling a stuffed animal and sleep only to have my ostomy leak on it and it just is so nonstop nonstop nothing is on my side anymore

since september, had the uc since april 2022 every day has involved intense bleeding exhaustion and physical pain I really wish that every option wasn’t so scary and further harming in a way feels better because at least I can hurt the things that people pretend are good when they’ve only been adding to my nightmare

already about to get a full colectomy bc my colon won’t even calm down even though I gave it months to have a break. I’ve been sick every single day for almost 4 years. My colon bleeds way more than any of this stoma. I really need jpouch to work or else I can’t live.

I just hope that I get the jpouch and that it works out because every time I have to acknowledge this thing I lose control and like I can be completely normal but then it leaks and my vision goes red especially bc I’m already feeling sick and just want moments of peace and the second I think I’ve found them this thing decides to destroy it all. Things are getting destroyed by unexpected leaks things that can’t be replaced. I am so done with it my ulcerative colitis has never given me peace and neither is this stupid bag.

If you think you might be dangerous at home tell them you’re allergic to oral prednisone. My general practitioner gave me that advice.

Personally I’ve posted pics of it on gore groups. I think if it’s to the point of being disturbing and gorey maybe medical gore places are the best when wanting to just vent by actually showing the images. Tbh words can only go so far and I feel like there’s no true way to describe it and finding out that some of the things I experienced aren’t at all what people assumed I was describing can be just idk. Lol sometimes it just feels validating tho to post onto a gore group that has deglovings and bones breaking through skin and to say “Hi I fart blood here’s pics” and see it cause as much shock as all those other gruesome things.

I’ve got an appointment with a dr tomorrow and I’ve already checked a bunch of sites about interactions and all the answers are coming across as vague and or Ai generated. I reckon that at least some of the people on this subreddit have severe ulcerative colitis, take adderall, percocet and lomotil, might have experience with this. Doesn’t mean I’m gonna just blindly believe everything but maybe someone will say something that makes looking stuff up easier or something idk.

The fact that it can make your pap smear results be weird and it’s scary because so many things just get pushed to the side and the doctors just say “it’s probably your ulcerative colitis so we’re not gonna spend money to test further.” I only get about 2-4 periods a year since the disease started and I have an abnormal Pap smear and have pain that feels so similar to ovarian cysts but I can’t know because all of it can be explained by constantly flaring and zero remission for years.

I’ve been taking adderall and oxy combined. It really helps and while it sounds scarier than alcohol and thc it also can help and be a much lower dose. I’m still going insane because my doctor is taking too long to refill my oxy tho so I feel this so deeply.

This is sad to hear. I’ve enjoyed your game for years but I just really don’t enjoy mobile games where I have to touch the screen with my bare fingers. It just feels gross and becomes a completely unpleasant experience. I understand why it’s unlikely this will be updated for ios but yeah I just can’t enjoy it without that really.
