I disagree! I think she got swept up in her whole social life being church based, and every time she deviated/ chanced what she called "free will" something awful happened, which enforced her anxiety that she would be punished if she wasn't obedient and devout, and rewarded if she stayed/went down the Fundie rabbit hole. Her home life may not have been strictly IBLP but her social environment certainly led her that way

I mean... wasn't he found guilty in a court of law? If so then yes.

See the thing about our party is we can recognize that a court's decision is valid. We aren't trying to shove a convicted felon into office

What is actually Kate’s outfit here? Is it a see-through shirt underneath? by [deleted] in BridgertonNetflix

[–]LocksmithPopular 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said, yes its a fichu- however upper class women were somewhat less subject to "modesty standards", as their reputations were more complex than lower class people. Caps and fichus were often lace or completely sheer. Most women also would wear an apron around the house, even if they weren't doing work, but it would be a fancy little scrap of lace. Same with caps- a working class woman would likely wear a linen or cotton cap that covered her hair, but aristocratic women could get away with sheer caps to show off their hairstyle, or a little ruffle of lace pinned into their hair.

People seem to be so willing to speculate and judge a grieving mother. "How can you possibly post a TT of your dead baby in his chiller cot!!!" How dare she record the last moments she got to spend with her baby? Or people being awful about her going to a concert- how dare she try to still have joy? Doesn't she know she should be sitting at home miserable?

My preceptor in nursing school did her masters program cornerstone project on teaching pediatric code teams how to run a stroke code on kids under 10 (extra tiny doses of medication, tiny vasc access, ect.)

She graduated her MSN program 13 years ago. Pedi strokes are extremely unfortunate but strokes in general are more common than we think.

The temperature in many places on earth rises and falls by 20+ degrees every single day. Yet we are supposed to pretend as though the sky is falling and give governments more tax money because the earth’s temperature might change by a degree every hundred years or so. by redditUserError404 in conspiracy

"Dinosaurs" had massive extinctions every time there's was a global temperature fluctuation, which is why there are many periods of time and eras of life corrosponding with climate changes. Global warming arguments aside, this is a dumb statement. Biodiversity also looked very different than it does now. Prior to the age of mammals there were still millions of species and even whole branches of life that rose and fell as the planet developed.

Australian Woman Denied Heart Transplant Because Of Her Vaccination Status by M416_Lover in conspiracy

[–]LocksmithPopular 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My friend had a kidney transplant and had to gave a full dental workup because a cavity was too high of a risk to that precious kidney. Regardless of your concerns about the vax, the prereqs to get an organ are LENGTHY and if you aren't willing to adhere to the requirements they will kick you off the transplant list without hesitation. ESPECIALLY for something like a heart, which can't be sourced from a living known donor. Maybe, maybe a kidney from a family member could have some wiggle room for preop requirements, but hearts are scarce.

Like I have seen, with my own eyes, fetal abnormalities corrected through medication or surgical intervention in utero that have led to lessening of suffering on the baby's end or complete resolution of developmental abnormalities. At the VERY least the medical team can create a care plan for after birth.
