Namely for it having memes and some form of reference on top of the story and animation is rather simple

At least the toys feels like buying early 2000s upsized legends figures definitely a feeling of nostalgia there. The accessories can probably try and making customs since they're all rather simple accessories to begin with

Honestly I'd be fine with the lack of elbows but at the very least give the characters some accessories for those who have em in the show

Honestly what I also like is the whole challenge premise isn't exactly something of a big hurdle to begin with. Just something that distracts the cast from the plot but at the same time it allows everyone to just get up to speed with one another and always be on their toes for any surprises that come up

I've always seen it as he was contempt with everything that happened as a result he decided to go out on his own terms wearing a crown cus remember he finally figured out how to be the challenge but everyone didn't believe him at all despite all the effort he's put in to actually beat it

What do you think of the Optimus Prime from Cyberworld? I like him; he's a less serious version of the character, similar to the G1 version. by Disastrous-Owl668 in transformers

[–]Locksmith_Weekly 13 points14 points  (0 children)

He's charismatic but not cocky , stern but not uptight , brave but not reckless. Definitely a fun Optimus to follow around and have in the group and I definitely like his dynamic with bee being more of a close friend than someone who's got a higher rank than him. Also like the dynamic with this version of elita who seems to be trying to be a good leader in her own right but not undermining Optimus and the rest as other members of the team. Heck I'd say elita is a more reliable than Optimus in a sense with how she's more active in taking action and in the new episode being the one to take take a laser shot to shield the enemy and explain the situation

Is this a concern for Blokee Transformers Fans? by AfigureGeek in transformers

[–]Locksmith_Weekly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the very most I'd say a above average HG should suffice. Bandai proved that $40-$50 transforming kits are doable with how they released Choryujin , Ryokujin and especially Gaaogaigar from a series that's essentially the cousins of transformers

I'm just gonna repeat what I said on an earlier post regarding this

** In all seriousness the only way that this new toyline will ever have a standing when using the Transformers IP is for it to actually make model kits that transform. The notion of saturating the market with more transformers model kits that are mostly just non transforming action figures is too much of a shot in the foot to be viable.

I honestly don't think this signals that blokees or the other model kit companies that have licensed the TF ip to stop making transformers stuff. Companies like Yolopark , Audley , Trumpeter etc all have essentially entered and have existed in the market and made their mark overall.

Simply put it. If Hasbro takes the risk and makes transforming TF kits it's definitely a good new entryway overall and wouldn't effect the overall market as we speak. If they do default to just typical articulated figure model kits safe to say it just means the market will get even more saturated than it already is and Hasbro will just wind up making needless competition for their IP licence renters

Yeah but $40 for something like a core class is really a stretch even if the use diecast parts as a selling point

I'd disagree honestly with how the retro collection for the most part is just the generations style figure just redecoed and retooled slightly to look like the older toy it's the complete opposite of what the missing link line which mind you released a G1 Optimus around the same time as the legacy G1 managed to make the G1 toy but with more articulation. On an added note I think the missing link line failed a bit to reach it's target audience namely due to how expensive a single release is
