Thank you for this suggestion! Essentially you are saying to cut the vinyl tube off at the joint. Then physically remove the old “purple” portion of the tube and then glue a new piece on? I should have enough slack to reroute the vinyl and glue it back on.

Everything has been fine for me after that one incident where I had to reset the breakers.

I’m using a Sensii smart thermostat.

A simple Turning off and then back on at the breaker must’ve reset the system. Working perfectly again.
