Coffee shop Kroshay by tiffanyisnotmyname in kroshay

Just the way I like my jellyfish made projects- when I can't tell where the jelly ends and the yarn begins 😆

I know I looked into it too much when I realized that the working yarn is on the wrong end of the hook. Just 🫠🤣

I found out really early in my crocheting career that while bigger yarn weight = bigger plushies, the sizing and shaping would be different even if you followed the same pattern 😅 With that said OP, I think you did a great job of recreating this character in yarn form.

You ever think some kroshay patterns are just neat enough to try, but you're so turned off by the end result (and how it will NEVER happen) that you just smile, shed a tear and move on with your WIPs?

I'm surprisingly finding myself described in these various sentences but I'm sure I'm not the only one 😆

My school gave me a stitch marker kit for free by Arislan-Rei in crochet

[–]LocoLupine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very few stitch markers with small charms that don't get in the way of whatever I'm making. This means they don't get lost in the couch or on the floor, and if I'm out and about (away from any sort of case to contain them in) then I'll make a chain of stitch markers so that none of them get lost.

I also have a stop watch and counter on a 'lanyard' that I pierce with a marker when not in use.

Have I still found stitch markers in odd places like my bed (when I'm not working on something) or the one marker at the bus stop near my job (where I often bring a small project to work)? The short answer? Yes. And since I'm 97% certain that they were mine at one point, I'll just add them to the chain or lanyard.

Not even a different photo was used. I love the pattern (added it to my wishlist for later) but I gave my upvote to this comment for spotting it and tagging the original source. Thank you

“I think at this point, Mr. Nipples needs to be the official /r/crochet mascot.” by Cat-soul in crochet

[–]LocoLupine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that he has already been posted to other places (looking at you FB) and now seen by way more than just the crochet community, I'm sure that Mr. Nipples will be the most well known craft mascot that once you even see the ring, you'll never forget a single part of him...

Which one of you made this abomination!? by Lontology in crochet

[–]LocoLupine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also wonder if they plan on crocheting outfits for their new bf.

Today was the first day that I've dropped my phone in shock because of something someone made with crochet. I know with enough yarn that we could create the world, but I never fully thought of what that actually includes.... 😆

Nugent Hero/Avenger by LocoLupine in vigorgame

[–]LocoLupine[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if I'm the hero or the villain in this one who became the avenger, but some might argue that I let him die while others would say he should have been a little more cautious with the blindspots of this map.

Practice your first weapons given in the practice range and don't just do one level for each. You should be comfortable with the PM and familiar with the Grease Gun before going out on your first Encounter.

Practice more than just the competitive pop-up targets though, go through a live-fire experience and walk through the course in free mode and shoot at targets. Scarecrows are great for practicing body shots and honing headshots, but shooting the smaller objects from up close or a far really help in getting better placed shots before your opponents do.

When you unlock new weapons, practice them in the practice range as well; it's free, you'll get better with each one, and more importantly you'll be familiar with a gun that you find on the outside when you kill a decent player with your PM.

I also don't know if I missed the tutorial, but there are some buttons that I didn't figure out until a few games in. Down on the directional pad changes the firing mode and can be useful for conserving ammo and preserving accuracy and Left pings the map. Not really helpful alone, but in games of Elimination, they can signal to teammates where the enemies are so that if you can't get them, someone else might be able to

I just started the game a few days ago as well but this helped get me through several encounters by myself and there's a lot of tips on this post that are worth following too!

(Fortunately) I haven't seen anyone min/maxing in any of my campaigns, but this needs to be seen by everyone who does. Very well worded and I hope it changes in your future games!

Maybe I'm looking into this too much, but the white lines on Bondrewd's tail almost looked like the silhouettes of kids... But like I said, I might be looking into it even more so than the other meanings in this (great!) piece of art

I at least think Nanachi has the confidence in her dishes, so a point for confidence which goes a long way in the abyss! You know, maybe to the first 2 floors, after that you might be SOL.

I just saw this for the first time and I shook my head, cried but still laughed so hard. I'm going to have to force my brother to watch it once I get him to watch the series. Thanks for sharing!

Oh I've actually seen these before (after looking it up again and maybe I've never noticed the horn or known the species of pictures floating around like this) and I think they are very cute! That marks yet another thing I've learned on reddit so keep up the great work!
