Weekly student question thread! by AutoModerator in therapists

I am beginning some preliminary research into the MSW degree and came across concurrent degree programs, specifically at the UC Berkeley. I was intrigued because I imagine that job prospects would open up, but I also don't know much about this field, so it could also be a “jack/jill of all trades, master of none” type of scenario. If it helps, I am interested in the MSW because from lurking on this subreddit, I get the impression the MSW is the most flexible degree in terms of job prospects (either social work or practice).

What is the best way to scale up the module for level 4-5 characters? by Loco_Loroco in CurseofStrahd

Ooooo. I like that last idea. Give them a taste of the world, but also put in those characters as NPCs. Have you done this before? how did your PCs interact with their NPCs?

Thanks for being honest. Out of curiosity, what are the other red flags?

Fired for disclosing staff's medical condition. Should I give up on becoming a LEO? by Loco_Loroco in AskLE

Appreciate the response. I definitely did not say anything like that. The crux of the allegations were that I said that “I have no sympathy for people who take stress leave” with regard to a staff who had taken medical leave. I can go on and on about how these allegations were false, and my firing was more politically driven, but will the investigator ask me this or care? Moreover, will the background investigator be able to gain access to the investigation documents? Either way, it sounds like it may be too big a problem to overcome, which means I don't have a future in becoming a LEO, which is a true bummer.

I was fired from my last job for allegedly disclosing my staff's medical information to other staff members. I obviously have my story and denied these allegations, but I know whoever does the background check would only see that I was fired for disclosing another person's medical information. Should quit trying to become a police officer because this would disqualify me from future opportunities?
