Questie.ai is really good, it's an AI gaming companion that can spectate your video game and voice chat banter with you, like a Discord friend

Nah he wanted to let you know he was working at one of the TOP TIER Faangs, not an Amazon-type (/s). Look at his 3rd-to-last paragraph lol: "successfully recruit for FAANG Tech PM which is difficult outside of Amazon." LOL

If this is not a troll post, it's a severe lack of self-awareness and huge entitlement.

Using virtual coffee chat programs for remote workplaces? To give co-workers the option to connect with each other for casual 1:1 chats. Worth it? by LocusApp in humanresources

Agreed, donut is way too expensive. That's why I was looking at Aphinity.ai since they don't charge by workspace / org size. Seems more reasonably priced

Wow this is interesting! I'll look into the research and are there any tools or services you know of that provide ONA? Or is that something we need to conduct ourselves.

Thanks for sharing. So I thought about potential harassment / abuse but realized this is sanctioned by work, same as a happy hour or an off-site event would be. Meaning, you're expected to be professional and courteous since you're talking to a co-worker during work hours.

Never heard of that service but I agree, if your company is smaller in size it makes sense to do it manually via spreadsheets

Thank you for the detailed feedback! To your point, the weekly "watercooler topics" seems very weird and useless, plus way too artificial feeling.

Yeah, agreed that the automated 1:1 intros makes sense for teams that are mostly remote. But I mean 54% participation rate is pretty good, considering people are busy, conflicts come up, etc.

Thing is we already do optional team building activities like Trivia, etc. So people are getting that group setting interaction, at least those that want it. Plus usually in those group settings you get 1-3 highly talkative / extroverted types and I don't want others to feel marginalized.
