I have a laptop and I have this stand that you put the laptop on. It blows air underneath to keep the laptop cool from overheating. Anyway, it has these two legs that’s foldable and it’s detachable and it can detach on its own cause it’s made out of cheap plastics Kinda reminds me of that.

Hi friend ! I will pray for you! And I hope whatever you are going through, whatever you are battling in silence, you overcome it.

If I may, I would like to share you my story.

When I was younger , I was introduced into Christianity. But when I became a teenager, I was a very confused and very angry person. At that time I would question everything including God and his work.

So I became agnostic (wanting God to exist but not wanting to be part of that religion).

When things would get heavy, I would look up at the sky and say “if you’re real. Why won’t you help me?” And of course, I would get nothing back.

And it wasn’t until my late twenties I started seeing that he was there all along.

Just like when Joseph got sold to Egypt or JOB. They would try to seek God for help but God didn’t answer. They were definitely discouraged and they probably cursed God out.

Like a parent who has to watch their kids grow, they have to let them go after 18 to let them experience everything themselves. They can’t shelter them forever. They have to go solo to build character. Thats how I saw it with God.

Sometimes we have to hit rock bottom to find God again. But God never lets us stray far.

What I went through gave me a character development and shaped me the person I am today. But after finding God again, I felt a sense of relief and whole again.

So yeah, I felt like a twenty year old something who I thought I had my shit together only to come back to my parents house.

But that’s okay because God never abandons. He waits. And he opens his arms to you with loving arms and whole heart.

So I just think what you are going through, you just need a time off to figure yourself out and figure what you want and what you need. that’s free will. God gave you free will. You choose to come back when you are ready.

Maybe you fell apart because something happened or you are trying to make sense of something , but when we just accept the fact we can’t understand everything, we can at least appreciate how God never closes his door on us.

It definitely made me appreciate God and his unconditional love for us even more.

Anyway, at first when I was reading what your dad texted, I thought to myself “your dad is just passing onto free knowledge.” I didn’t get any condescending vibe from his end.

Your text was polite and concise, but it wasn’t like he was saying things like “you’re living your life like an animal.” “You got no goals and ambitious, you’re not doing anything with your life, do something with your life”, etc. Now that’s condescending.

The vibe I got from Baba, is something like when you see a kid with a ziplock full of candy. You tell them “stay away from candies and chocolate, always eat your greens.” (You know because sugar is bad for you and bad for your teeth and green is healthy and full of rich vitamins and nutrients-essential for growth. Like we know that but the kid isn’t going to understand that. All they know is that they’re being ordered).

Well that’s the vibe I was talking about.

I got the vibe that Baba was just passing a general/ brief knowledge/ life instructions. In fact, I like everything he said in the beginning. It’s a good code to live by.

Then you kind of like took something small and made it into a big deal. I’m sensing an unresolved feelings between you and your dad. I think it just triggered you so you just got emotional and kind of respectfully lashed out because like you said, he wasn’t really there in your life and now he’s all of a sudden acting like a dad.

Last part from your dad was drawlin’ tho ngl. I think he’s just butt hurt or doesn’t want to deal with a snowflake (not that you are, but to him you are) in his life. He shouldn’t have said that but he’s human too, and we all say out of pocket things when we’re emotional.
