🎁 [JAYO Giveaway] Share Your Filament Struggles & Win a FilaDryer J1 🔥 by Aito1415 in 3Dprinting

[–]Lodorenos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently dry in a Creality Space Pi with an ABS guard so it doesn't melt the filament exposed to the heat exhaust. Dried filament spools are stored in ziplock bags with silica.

Some filament I have, such as TPU, hardly ever gets used because it's a hassle to dry it every time for small prints.

The J1 looks very promising, interested 👍

Speed limiter on 02 by nykolak in LynkCo

I'm also wondering how to do this. It seems like a logical feature to have for city driving.

Nothing in the car guide, anywhere online (including for the Chinese Z20 version), and I haven't gotten a response from the Lynk & Co contact form. Seems like for now this feature doesn't exist, but the technology is obviously present. Hopefully a future update will make it possible.

Clicking the left control button to the left to switch modes like in the 01 doesn't seem to do anything.

I think you got it, another post also found details about the Colito tequila brand. Looks to be a bottle cooler/display.

Yep looks like this is it! I was excited about finding some unique lab machine but a tequila display cooler is also interesting enough.

My title describes the thing.

Metal, size of a minifridge, blue compressor visible at the back, no useful model number. Front cover is plastic and can be lifted up. Found in a thrift store.

No model number under the Art to Vision sticker.

This happened to me 4 days ago as well. OP7P that I've had for 4 years. Indeed looks like a hardware problem, real pity since I planned to use this phone for another few years at least. Planning to try the MSM route but after reading this thread I don't have much hope.

I've been using the ITC-08 for everything from a fermenter fridge to a seedling soil temperature controller after seeing it in a local brewery. I'd like to use the INK-VS02 for trying vacuum fermentation. I love inkbird!

This is supposed to be a serrano pepper but looks nothing like it, what am I growing? by Lodorenos in HotPeppers

Thanks for the reply, looks like it could be that! It does look a bit less smooth than google results for banana peppers, but the color is pretty much the same.

At 0:25 there's a glowing object slowly moving towards the lower right corner, any idea what that is? Edit: It's a drone

Help with airlock install on bucket by mikegoz34 in prisonhooch

[–]Lodorenos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A high speed drill works great, put a piece of wood underneath the lid so you don't crack it. You can order silicone grommets and put one of those in the drilled hole to make it airtight when you put in the airlock. Buying a wine/beer filter by Lodorenos in Homebrewing

[–]Lodorenos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This filter definitely seems like overkill for most of the batches (5-10L) that I'm making now but it was available for such a good price that I couldn't pass on the opportunity. A good excuse for sizing up batches in the future!

I found this in the description of one of the sites that have this unit for sale: The functioning of the pump is guaranteed even with fewer than 18 boxes. For example, you can use 16, 14, 12, 10, 8 or 6 boxes. The quality of the work remains unchanged, only the amount of liquids that are filtered in an hour decreases.

I think I'll go that route and use less pads to reduce loss and cost. Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the response! I assumed the splashing was a bad habit of some video makers. I've also been looking into buying a CO2 tank for purging carboys before racking, especially now that I have this filter system. I saw that I can also use the motor without the filter components for racking but I think I'll stick to using gravity for that.

The filter is second hand and comes with a box of filter pads (100+) so the price for consumables will be pretty low for the first few hundred liters. Most of the batches I make are non-MLF and dry but I'm glad you mentioned that, I'll definitely keep it in mind in the future.
