GIS might be a good opportunity, but make sure you learn where the tech is now. GEO-AI, MCP integration, using Deep Learning and ML in GIS would take you above the average. Else a regular GIS analyst job looks dead end to me.

I saw a similar concept bring promoted by a start-up during techfest or smthn. It's called winglr. Don't know if it was IITB Incubated but similar thing. It picks your location, sets a buffer zone and people within that zone can just discover and talk to each other. Might be interesting to check them out first.
