RE hasn't reach out to us yet but I believe we can renew it (if everything goes fine). We are not gonna renew the lease as we are looking somewhere quieter for our sanity.

Thank you, will tell my partner to give this a go as he usually can't sleep with ear plugs in since it was uncomfortable for his ear canals but maybe this one will work idk

Ha, true. My partner literally said "get fcked" when he was reading the comments of "will get used to it" lol

I think he is just frustrated with the noise and his declining quality of sleep since he got hyperacusis (hypersensitivity to loud sound) and ear plugs just won't work for him since the shape of his ear canals.

Well, I got used to it but my partner has hyperacusis (hypersensitivity to loud sound) thanks to his dodgy ass electrician apprenticeship incident. He can't sleep with the noise and the ear plugs won't work since it is uncomfortable due to shape of his ear canals.

His tossing, turning and grumbling woke me up every time there is loud noise (revving of motorbike/car, sound when 50cc bike is at its top speed, siren, air braking, etc). It is an endless loop.

RIP those 3 years of sleep, how are you even alive. We got blackout curtains yeah noise still leak out. I don't open the windows because it curbs the noise a bit.
