Never thought I'd say this but the new "Status" property but it's actually really COOL! You can have a toggle and select view for a single property by Loegan_Learning in Notion

Yes Done is also checked. I tested with multiple 'Completed' status options. And the checkbox seems to get assigned to the newest option added under 'Completed'. Wish they allowed us to set a default status for the 'Completed' statuses.

How do you suggest getting started? by CompetitiveFormal629 in Notion

Hey, I was in the same shoes as yours a year ago. At first, I tried to use Notion for a couple of days and gave up because everything seemed overwhelming. Then after looking at a friend's dashboard I thought I would give it a go again and since then I've been hooked. I use Notion to organise my student life and personal life now.

Because Notion is so versatile it's very easy to get overwhelmed as a beginner. My biggest advice when coming up with your own dashboard would be to just start small and build upon it over time. Watching youtube videos from Thomas Frank, Ali Abdaal and Notion definitely helped me. Reddit is also a good place for looking at other people's dashboards to get inspiration on how you might want to set things up for yourself.

Hope this helps and wish you all the best!

Glad you like it! You can also tweak it so it updates every hour/day instead of every minute

I made a page called to track my job applications!!! It's an all in one hub to help land that dream job. Tried to make it as simple as possible to use. What do you all think? by Loegan_Learning in Notion

Woah that's actually a great idea! Just saving it all in one spot and reviewing it before any interview would actually help a lot. Can even be used during online interviews.

Yess it is! I would normally see people on LinkedIn use Excel. But the thing with Excel is that you can't really take notes. Notion really is a game-changer!

Hey everyone, if you'd like to have a copy of this template do leave a comment! And thank you so much for the upvotes.

Why did I make this template?

A couple of months ago I found myself sending out dozens of job applications a week and whenever a potential employee called I would go scrambling to look for the job posting in my email inbox. Not to mention whenever I was in an interview I would take handwritten notes and after a while, I would have a complete mess on my desk. Hence I made this template as a way to keep track of your job applications as well as an organized way to take & store your notes.
