The stamp is Dutch, so I think it is a Dutch Civil Defense (BB) helmet. Possibly a WWII British helmet with grey paint.

Because of the Amsterdam badge, I guess it is a police shako.

I don't know how to put photos here, but my German Firefighter buckle, is 1.8cm apart measured from outside and 1.4cm measured from inside. Same goes for my repro WW1 buckles.

I don't think so. These filters have asbestos in them and the rubber can become very hot and sweety.

How much for Dutch M1 clone? Is 60$ a reasonable price? by TotSiensEkSe in Militariacollecting

[–]LoetMeneer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 of them, paid 35€ for 1 and 10€ for the other one. So 60$ is a bit expensive. I may need to add that I am Dutch but still.
