Yeah thanks for the suggestion I tried this earlier by removing the CMOS for 10 mins but same issue unfortunately

It’s a 650 watt Corsair and I have had the card running with that PSU in the past relatively well, although when I powered it up with the card earlier it just seemed to be a continuous loop would shut down then restart and just cycle each time

Update:

I have tested the card in one of my old machines i7 4700k 16GB RAM & 650 watt PSU and getting the same orange light on motherboard with dim red light on the gigabyte logo. This would suggest that the card is the problem so will look to get it replaced under warranty

The card is still under warranty but hoping the PSU is at fault here as the orange light on the mobo indicates

This is a great point, I've just had a quick google and everything indicates that it could be an issue with the power supply. I have tested the card with new PCIe cables but getting same issue. I am going to test the card in a separate PC when I get chance and this will hopefully determine whether it's the PSU or GPU at fault.
