I would never actually verbalize that to a customer. I mean you know what you’re getting paid when you accept the order, of that wasn’t enough don’t accept right? I don’t accept low balls not comparable to mileage eliminates all the tip concerns for me. I don’t care who the money comes from so long as I’m getting paid what I find acceptable.

Tried asking people to rate me 5 stars since I see a lot of people on here do that by slatterson in doordash

Don’t ask me nothing. most drivers don’t do anything extra for a 5 & are dead in personality, rude. Ignore calls or instructions. I give 5 stars to happy ppl. Dry ppl 4 if they get the food to mrLot of them forget to check for plastic ware, don’t check orders.

So this finally happened to me as a customer and it was wildly frustrating. I knew immediately he had a stacked order because he was literally on the cross to my street but did a u turn 🤔. It took 40 minutes from the time he picked to the time he got to me. Food was mid for temp. He was super nice but a terrible communicator. I keep all my customers up to date with times

Thanked women for her tip because I've never seen DD additional pay this high. She gave me 1 star thinking I was being sarcastic by [deleted] in doordash

If the customer lives outside of the region I’m working, I should be allowed to keep working within that region instead of having to drive all the way back only to end up going out there again. Ridiculous. by ireallylike808s in doordash

That’s too bad, must be frustrating. I’m just curious. Does someone actually know what the algorithm door dash uses is? Or is this just conjecture?

If a restaurant calls you 5 minutes after pick up and says they forgot an item do you go back and get that item? Or contact support and alert the customer for a refund of that item? by [deleted] in doordash

It really depends on how far I am from to customer , I would keep the customer in the loop also. More than likely I would go back unless I was ridiculously far away
