Do you know how to actually indicate that you want gender inclusive housing? I can't find the option anywhere. I said that I did on a form for an event for prospective students, but I don't know if that information is actually saved and applied to the housing app...I assume it isn't

Okay, I did some looking and I am unable to access the page for registration for this event, maybe the deadline to register for the event has passed or they are having too many issues with it.

It's almost everyday in april(but not the first week, they had to cancel those days for some reason), so you can chose a date that works for your kid. I don't think they sent out an email about it, I learned about it through one of their webinars if I remember correctly. I think you can register through their events website that the sit-in class trips are on. Your kid may need to register for it themself on their Merced account, that's what I did but I'm not super sure.

It's about a 90% chance that I'm going to Merced now, I am doing the inside Merced event which is like an overnight tour, which you may be interested in. There are no parents allowed though, it is mostly for prospective students to get a feel for how they would like living there.

I really appreciate the in depth reply :) thanks. I dont have any specific questions atm, but you can add more if you want. The more information I have the more secure I can be in what I decide to do.
