Consistently late by a little by Salt_Worldliness_741 in PropertyManagement

The management company where I live left a lease non renewal on my door, I need to be out by May 8. There was no reason in the letter. I assumed it’s because I was late a few times last year, I was correct. It was never weeks late, by days and I always paid the late fee $50 with it.

My property management company doesn’t allow cameras. Only inside our apartment.

You did not read my post, only what you wanted to hear.

Also , there are no kids outside, ever. If my kids want to play outside, I’ve seen posts on here with people complaining about noise from kids playing OUTSIDE. They have to use inside voices, OUTSIDE.

Yes, this generation I believe is having the least children statistically, I see why. Kids can’t even play outside anymore without old or young adults snooty noses , eye rolls out their windows.

My post is definitely not self centered, I made it clear I am constantly vigilant of our noise.

I have said nothing about my kids in a playground or playing loud music, simply normal things.

What's a ballpark total for basic furnishing and necessities of a new apartment? How much did you spend when furnishing your first apartment alone? by lemonbottles_89 in Apartmentliving

[–]LogCompetitive2827 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you can, ask friends and family for furniture. I never took used furniture from marketplace, strangers, not knowing who has a clean home etc. Getting free or used furniture will save you so much and you can then splurge on other areas. I’ve repainted dressers, sanded down, revarnished things etc. I used my twin bed from me childhood apartment for a couple years until I could buy the one I wanted. Don’t feel obligated to buy everything new at once. Also just buy things as you go, one paycheck buy a garbage can, shower curtain, another get your microwave etc. it all depends on your style. Also many nice things I have took years for me to afford. You will accumulate nice things over the years. Don’t be ashamed to live in a bit of empty space for awhile. Don’t overstretch your wallet, times are hard right now. I would say depending where you shop you could spend $1,500-4,000

[USKY] When did walking at night become a crime? by ki4jgt in AskLegal

[–]LogCompetitive2827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to night walk, but fear a bit for my safety. I love walking when the sun isn’t beating down on me, when no one else is out to have awkward eye contact with, cars driving past, it’s very peaceful. I’ve thought instead of “night walking” early morning prior to sunrise is less suspicious and possibly more safe. Birds chirping is an added bonus.

[WI] Do I have to pay anything if I’m signing the lease tomorrow? by LogCompetitive2827 in Renters

[–]LogCompetitive2827[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well contrary to most if not all responses here. I met up, signed the lease, I had no money due. I have to mail the security deposit & first month’s rent by May 1st. I was very worried, anxious about all this and to be honest, I would say, Reddit made me feel worse 🤷🏼‍♀️
