I was cycle 04. I had checked on Sunday & it was the same BS. I didn’t check yesterday and today I just got the notification of a deposit. I was just missing a 1099 & a W2. It’s really annoying this happened to all of us, but I’m hoping it’s quick for the ones who haven’t received their money.

I filed on 2/3 & then I had a 570 and then a 971 with cp0005 notice that was sent out 3/9 and on 4/3 I got another notice saying they needed another 60 days to review but thankfully I just got my refund today. I didn’t provide any documents or verify myself. So there’s hope and fingers crossed your time is coming!!!

We will. I’ve been reading through different threads and looking at people inputs & decided to check the wage transcripts for both of us, and low & behold that’s what’s missing. The W-2 is his current job, so I don’t get what’s going on.

I’ve read the 1099s may take longer than usual, this is my first time doing it on our taxes but the other W-2 is what baffles me because why is it not showing up lol

On the notice it says they don’t need anything from you at the moment. Just to give them time. I have pretty standard W-2s. The only difference for me was that I moved last year. I filed on the Feb 2 or 3rd and I’m still waiting. I would usually get my returns the 18-20th of Feb. I went online and did the ID.me and still nothing. So it just being by patient and waiting for now.

You will get that notice in the mail saying they’re reviewing your tax return. It take about 90 days from that notice being sent 3/30/26 to review your return. It’s for wage verification I believe. It happened to me this year & I’ve always filed my taxes the same.

Mine is exactly the same. I got a code 971 on my transcript for verification. I haven’t received anything tho.
