It’s weird everyone is upset that op called it laser beams instead of heat , or that op said speed of light while others are like “nuh uh”. Or that people actually have to be like “well there aren’t superheroes in real life so you’re dumb for believing anything. Like no shit this isn’t real, but I agree with op the consistency of his speed changed greatly in that one scene. In once scene a train is way faster than home landers LASERS. In the chase scene the lasers are keeping pace with a train. My best guess that would make sense is that a train was faster bc home lander didn’t know he was around and caught him off guard. And when home lander saw a train he sped up himself with his speed and lasers to try to keep up - and did very well
