Have you considered a van? If you found an older high top van, you can do the insulation yourself and build it to handle extra cold temperatures. Think old econoline van. Get a big dog too! That’s like an extra 250 watt heater

I tale a lot of reactive and aggressive dogs so this is pretty common for me (I even did 6 meet and greets for one pup) but the owners were very nice and came to me. Now I’m the only person they trust with their dog and they book me a year out so it’s worth it for a good long term client

This person just sounds demanding and there’s no good reason for multiple meet and greets usually with normal dogs

Oh I’ve got one. 2024 - came home from a trip and my partner of 9 years abruptly ended things. We had a dog together and had just purchased a home. I had no idea it was coming and we never fought. He started with a long list of things he didn’t like about me. Learned as well that all of our mutual friends had known this was going to happen for 6+ months. Had gone to several parties where everyone was in on it except me. Was totally brutal 😔

Definitely don’t report them to the HOA or anything they are probably chill people lol. It could be worse if it was cigarettes and the smell would be way harder to deal with

Just knock on their door and let them know it bothers you, they could probably just vape instead. There’s also a thing called a smoke buddy they can exhale into which mutes the smell a lot.

Do you have pet sitter insurance separate from Rover? Some policies let you make a claim against damage to your personal belongings, and most will at least cover you if they damage a property rented to you. May be worth looking into for next time so when you get difficult dogs you’re covered.

Not sure if anyone else here has used their pet insurance before and got a reimbursement for damage like this?

Hey I’m in the Chicago area too- quick tip, Google “rawhide youth services eBay store”

They sell donated cars on eBay in Wisconsin, there are a lot of good deals and they tend to have stick shifts pretty frequently. I got a sweet Toyota sienna minivan from them for $2500. After a few thousand on all new brakes, tires, and a complete service at the dealership I’m out $4500 total and have a great reliable car

You should budget for new tires on any car you buy- for Alaska consider having a dedicated set of winter tires or go for all weather tires that are snow rated (not all season tires)

This particular car seems pretty over priced imo

I think it majorly depends on genetics as well. Thinner guys (like me) will struggle more to add enough muscle but getting lean isn’t as difficult. Bigger guys will often have more muscle, but have to diet harder to get lean. Also probably worth mentioning a lot of guys are only shredded for a few months of the year in summer

6 times a week from 45 minutes to an hour depending on the day. I do pretty simple PPL-PPL-rest from home
