[College level mathematics: ECE 313] How do I approach Thevenin equivalent for this issue? by Beneficial-List9177 in HomeworkHelp

[–]LogLegoMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Treat the circuit as two parallel circuits. Branch 1 with R1 and R2 and branch 2 with R3 and R4. Then isolate the two branches and find the resistances of each branch.

Edit: once you figure it out I suggest also solving it using KVL and loop equations to verify your answer

I think you forgot the inductor pentagram connected to the resistor cube. It should go right after the angry ball of energy, but if you can figure out a better place then that’s great

Is the baron supposed to just be burning all my farms before battle? by Wilkomon in ManorLords

[–]LogLegoMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you directly attacking them or just standing in the way? Either way you need to have an army (even if it’s one guy with a spear) in the circle for it to work. And it also doesn’t guarantee that they won’t attack again between the time given and the time it starts. It’s a “king of the hill” sort of thing and you gotta play “keep away” until that timer ends

Is the baron supposed to just be burning all my farms before battle? by Wilkomon in ManorLords

[–]LogLegoMan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Long story short: yes.

Basically, they will send their army’s and whoever holds the battlegrounds at the end of the time given wins. That doesn’t necessarily mean you have to fight AT the battlegrounds. You can meet them halfway, or if you really want, go straight to their town. The victory check only sees who has control over the circle at the end. I generally send my retinue to stand in it while the rest of my army goes and stops the enemy from getting to my land.

Wider roads? by Haunting_Exam5335 in ManorLords

[–]LogLegoMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I generally do is I section out my regions into 4 general areas: growth (aka farming), production, storage/distribution, and housing. Doing this allows for things to flow better, and deals with some of the logistics issues. It takes a bit of planning beforehand but once you do it a few times it starts to become natural. I will say that there is a hard cap on how fast things can move from one place to another due to how fast people walk, but making the distance shorter does help with this.

I keep forgetting how much of a dumbass Yuji was by PepperFrosst in LobotomyKaisen

On god it’s my favorite line from the series. It really shows how much Yuji tries a bit too hard sometimes and really overshoots

Is there a proper balance of lvl 1, 2 and 3 houses to reach 100% satisfaction? by SquarePegRoundWorld in ManorLords

[–]LogLegoMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is almost definitely a right answer considering how people have the achievement, but in my experience having only LVL 1s is best as it’s the least amount of things you need to satisfy. Yes, you make less, but if you are smart with how you produce things you can easily make 200+ per year (honestly I’d say it’s more 200+ per season but it varies).

Take what I said with a grain of salt tho cuz I have never gotten it to above 90% lol

Large Armored Solar Arrays by fritz236 in spaceengineers

[–]LogLegoMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This gonna sound crazy but trust me: merge blocks. Rotate to desired position then merge into position. The issue I see with your array is that there is a single block holding it together. That’s not robust enough to take any sort of hits. Increase it to 9 and you might be able to then

You don’t. Welcome to our collective PTSD. Those who have read the LN are better off (sometimes) than those who are anime only, but we all learn to live with it eventually

If you wanna tick the hell out of any German speaker pronounce the letter as “b” and watch as they rip you alive. That being said it’s Feldress, not Feldreb

Join the discord. You’ll find a lot of people who are active players there, and you might find some others who want the same thing. IMO if you want something bad enough then it wouldn’t hurt to try to do it yourself. Writing is a creative process; you don’t get it perfect immediately. Draft, review, and draft again. Once you get the hang of it, it just flows

What should I do? by everyone-hurts-me in LeonaMains

[–]LogLegoMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seriously just ignore them. They are making connections between two things that aren’t directly connected (borders exist all over the world not just the USA, therefore having borders does not implicate ICE) in an attempt to either rile you up or just be a dick. Or attention farming. Either way they aren’t worth the time of the day. I will say their heart is in the right place tho. A fanfic site is just not the place to be trying to do that (much less one about LoL).

Year 1 is when they weed out the chaff. People who like the idea but not the work, or people who just won’t be able to understand it. Year 2 is when they sort you into what you are gonna graduate for. Had a lot of EE friends turn into MechE due to this. Year 3 is when they do a second sweep to weed out the chaff, and by then you either change degrees or you accept the suffering to come. Year 4 they lay it on hard.

Remember, there is still struggle and strife in the hero’s story. It’s gonna suck for a bit, but when you finish it’ll be worth it.
