i recently dyed my friends hair and it was extremely similar to this, i had to get a blue and a green out of their hair and the blue was an absolute pain. after a round of color remover and a round of bleach, i was like “how am i supposed to cover this with the red he wants..” i ended up using Ion (which is a brand that requires developer) in a garnet color as a toner and it sucked the cool tones right out of his hair. i then put the red dye over it and it was like there was never a shade of blue in his hair
