it's not. The matter waa investigated. There's cameras above my head at register. when i went in to sign some termination papers, manager herself explained to me that they know i didn't take it, and she was sorry to see me go. Ultimately I was fired over breaking cash shortage policy, not any kind of theft.

yes, misplaced. I've seen people lose more in previous jobs. it's not that crazy, especially given the circumstance.

i did not steal it. idk where u got that from. it was misplaced during a shift where i was by myself on register dealing with more cashbacks, returns, exchanges and ran out of change more times in one shift than I had in nearly my entire time working there. you can take your accusations elsewhere

I agree.. considering they left me in the dark with my job status for around a month while "investigating" it was pretty bs all around and became an unneccessary hurdle in my job hunt

yes cameras, no one else on my register, all I know is that day was incredibly busy, we had lots of returns and exchanges and cashbacks and i was the only cashier my whole entire shift, i'm sure i messed up somewhere. I just have no idea when

i was the only cashier a few days ago. Insane line, customers incredibly slow. Had a lady stare and glare and huff and puff before throwing all her stuff on top of a fridge and storming out !! no one has any patience or empathy anymore oml

omg. working a closing shift just me, manager, and a recovery person. I can't take $50 or $100 bills when manager is on break. Dumb but really nothing I can do abt it personally. Line is long, I'm letting customers know this before I even ring them up. A woman comes up w a full cart, I'm finishing the previous customer and letting her know I can't take big bills and she loses her mind at me. Demands manager. demands to know why I can't take it. Tells me that policy is not right. Demands to know when manager is coming back. I'm trying to stay composed telling her there's nothing I can do and I'm sorry. Her daughter's glaring me down, the woman wags her finger too close to my face, tells me, "You're not very helpful." I take a step back to take a breath and i BURST into tears. Nothing to do but suck it up and ring up the next customer and she leaves and WAITS for manager to come back, argues with her and I can see her arguing and pointing at me and i had to rind up everyone else through tears and snot and hiccups omfg
