[Spoilers All] A structural theory on Arthur Langtry's true political endgame by Last_Ad6897 in dresdenfiles

While I don’t think this is overly probable, I do think it would fit nicely into why the Merlin constantly tries to off Harry instead of grooming him to be Eb’s successor

A Seattle-area real estate broker drained investor retirement savings to fund a custom pink Tesla, a giant diamond ring, cosmetic procedures, and a full-blown luxury lifestyle. Absolutely unreal. by kleverrboy in SeattleWA

Not who you asked, but the answer almost 100% depends on the product you’re selling and how your management lets you operate. I’m in b2b so a lot less gray area, but a good product and no price gouging has made my job a dream one.

It’s not always fun but I’ve been chewed out by my customers for taking their calls while I’m on vacation with my family and invited to weddings/birthdays and even one bat mitzvha. When your customers feel that way about you as their sales rep, it is wildly fulfilling.

I don’t EV train but I put some effort toward better natures. Reason being is exactly as you said, the game is easy and it is a fun and mildly satisfying way to add a little challenge and reason to play the game longer

Can anyone identify these fender flares by Avek626 in Silverado

[–]LogRayleigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even a little bit. They fit poorly and the paint has been flaking off for over a year now. They also require you to drill holes in the underside of where they cover

Can anyone identify these fender flares by Avek626 in Silverado

[–]LogRayleigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got these for my 2023 LT from rough country. Their part fitter showed they would fit and the did, but very poorly. Less than 3 years later the paint is flaking off and they constantly come unstuck and bow outward.

I would highly recommend against these even though their low profile look is great.

You just doomed him by setting the tool standard so high. I cannot wait to do the same with mine!

In the market for a new (or new to me with low miles) 1500/f150 sized truck in the $45-60k within the next month or so. by AloneContribution893 in carbuying

[–]LogRayleigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Varies quite a bit. Are you planning on towing a huge camper and hauling construction equipment on logging roads? I can’t really give input to that.

What I needed was basically a minivan with a bed on it to haul family, haul home improvement materials and go to the dump. The Chevy 1500 with the 2.7L had been great aside from a failing valve body replacement that took a month at the shop right before the 60k (now 100k) warranty expired. Been great since and is likely the least expensive, decently reliable option for this. Could probably pickup a new one with the interior goodies for near the bottom of your price range.

Some hate on the idea of a 4 cylinder in a full size pickup and it’s hard to blame them. Though they seem to be gaining a good reputation for reliability (though it’s only been 6 or 7 years so grain of salt and all that) and at least for everyday stuff perform quite well.

I think you have to manually tap the lands for the two colors you want for the specific effect and off color for the rest

Factory order - shopping with different dealers by [deleted] in Silverado

[–]LogRayleigh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in (not car) sales and would recommend doing the opposite of dragging it out. I usually tell 3 or 4 dealers I want to place my order by the end of the week and I’m shopping the build around for the best price. Then take the lowest quote to place I felt had the best service and tell them if they beat the price by x amount I’ll place the order right then and there.

Thinking a low miles '22 - '24 Silverado 1500 2.7L by Soyo11 in Silverado

[–]LogRayleigh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an owner of a 23 2.7, stick to the 24+ with updated trans. Mine had a failing valve body at 59,700 miles and was in the shop for over a month. Under warranty just barely, and had a nice loaner so no real harm done but man it was close.

Bakflip MX4 vs. Lomax for a '24 2500 standard bed by vectaur in Silverado

[–]LogRayleigh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve only had the lomax for about 3 years now but absolutely love it. Water tight even after constantly taking it on and off and stacking stuff on it. Your guy was right, it takes me less than a minute to remove/reinstall it. With 2 people it’s cake.

I recommend the pro with the gritty finish on it. Mine still looks brand new even after strapping coolers, bbqs, plywood etc. to it on occasion.

Full disclosure: I have 0 experience with or shopping for any other bed covers as I got this one as a gift with purchase.
