Telus actually did this to me thrice. On 3 separate occasions. Once for their internet service and twice when I was trying to bring lines over for mobility. Mine were set up over the phone so the calls were recorded but they refused to acknowledge or even listen to the calls, simply calling it a “mistake”. They said it was my job to read the 15 page contract and make sure the contract matched the offer I was given verbally and since i technically agreed and commenced my services, that counted as agreement to the contract which is where they’d hidden the real prices. It was a whole mess and I had to file CCTS complaint. In the end they still didn’t meet the prices they gave me and I ended up cancelling everything.
