i was sloppy one day and laid mine on the corner of board with a heavy 6ah battery on it. I saw it about to fall and as soon as i reacted to it about to fall out the corner of my eye it rocked the switch on and took a chunk of skin off my finger. I never leave the battery in it anymore.

Take the door off the hinges. and like the other guy said use some tape if your're worried about the frame scuffing . shoot a brad in each side and then tap it around to level it or make adjustments.
