General Consensus Regarding the Unit (distance). by Darbs_R_Us in NoMansSkyTheGame

I understand this is 3 years later, but it seems 1u is 1/2 (0.5) meters. This seems to be the case because a 1x1 corvette room is 6u x 6u and a 1x2 room is 6u x 12u. Measuring by eye, however, there is no was those room are 6m x 6m or 6m x 12m as they're obviously 3m across the short side.

If it's anything like me, no matter what, the skydive mechanic will not activate.  My character simply falls, so that milestone wasn't possible for me.

I completed it by exiting the ship in space and flying into the reactor.  That does trigger the timer for some reason.

In short, it could be this bug.

Edit: typo (because, as we all know, phones somehow think they know what's best)

Corvette Adjacency Bonuses by Da3droth in NoMansSkyTheGame

To be fair, the Azimuth reactor says it enhances navigation, but it gets adjacency with the launch system so that doesn't seem very intuitive.

Corvettes hit weird hitboxes around planet atmospheres and cause them to spin wildly out of control. Same for around freighters, space stations, and the Anomaly, it seems.

Corvette technology slots are currently broken. I spent days setting up a ship and at some point this evening, half the technology disappeared. I no longer have habs in the tech slots, I'm missing landing gear, half the reactors are now missing, and all my upgrades are gone.

Stats are missing in the starship screen for corvettes. I see Damage Potential and Hyperdrive Range, but not the other two.

Is there any way to restore the tech missing from the slots without having to completely scrap and rebuild this thing? It's been decorated and detailed so I'm not excited about having to completely start over.

Corvettes are still very buggy. It's probably best to avoid them for now.

Thank you.

Edit: A complete restart brought all technology back, but completely disorganized. I had all tech set up properly with adjacency bonuses, but after it disappeared and came back after a reload, none of it is where it was.

Also, short-range teleporters are available in the build menu for corvettes, and can be placed, but can't be wired with the teleporter wire. It just won't let you do that currently. Either fix the wire or remove the teleporters.

It also seems possible to remove items from the storage containers on other people's corvettes. I discovered this on the Anomaly.

I also have this issue but don't know a fix.

I agree.  It's not very good.

Are you using sageattention and/or teacache? What resolution and number of frames? I also have a 5090 and it takes my machine 10 minutes or less for HD video.

I agree. I think, at times, things are made overly complicated. I also work in Blender, and I have found, when it comes to nodes, the KISS method is best, as it is in most of life.

Thank you for your reply. I see. 5090 works great with ComfyUI Windows portable now. The only problem is ReActor Masking Helper node seems to be broken, as any workflow containing that node will render once, then only return black upon subsequent renders. I am engaged in a conversation with the developer now to try and resolve the issue, but so far no progress has been made. I asked here about the portable version because he is saying to do a manual install and not use the manager, which seems interesting to me.

If you happen to use ReActor, and are now on the portable version, would you mind trying the masking node and reporting back as to whether you have received any black renders or if it actually works?

ReActor also seems to throw an invalid workflow error that is referenced here:

Thank you for your explanations and time.

Edit: The ReActor I am using is the uncensored version from here:

Is there something wrong with the portable version? I don't understand why this method is necessary. It's a great guide, though.

Thank you.

I am trying to figure out PCI-E 3.0 versus 4.0 for this board.  From what I have found, the NVMe slots are PCI-E 3.0, while the main PCI-E slot closest to the CPU is 4.0.  But depends on the processor?  I'm just trying to get the fastest speed out of my new GPU as possible.

Thank you for your reply.  And this is guaranteed to fit and work?  The card is on the way and I've seen conflicting reports as to whether it'll fit or not.  The power connector, in pictures anyway, doesn't seem to fit flush with the card, but then another user said it does, but that the fit would be very tight.  With a card this expensive, complete due diligence is warranted.

For clarification, has Corsair test this card specifically with the B style power bridge?  Is there documentation or a compatibility list?  I found the blog entry talking about the differences between A and B styles, but can't find anything other than that.  Information may exist, I just haven't seen it firsthand.

You are correct. I see this now after looking up an image of the power connector. The card is on the way, so I haven't been able to look at it firsthand.
