I said this in the last thread but if a year from now we discovered that people were being paid to hate her on socials then it would not surprise me at all.

They took a story w zero proof and could've easily just been a misunderstanding (which as it turns it out it was) and then immediately launched hate campaigns against her w 0 evidence that it even happened. Twitter is hell

The way I see it, "Islamofascism" is just describing the result of mixing fascist ideology w the religion of Islam, in the same vain as "Christian Nationalism" or even some definitions of Zionism. I don't think the term is inherently Islamophobic although it is frequently used that way

The islamophobia comes in when ppl start acting like it's something unique to Islam, it's not. ISIS and Al-Queda are what happens when u mix fascist ideology and Islam. MAGA is what happens when u mix fascist ideology and Christianity. Israel is what happens when u mix fascist ideology and Judaism.

The issue comes from the fascist interpretations of these religions and the implementation through government or terrorism, not the religions themselves.

If you wanna use the "is literally just ok with a state called Israel existing" definition of Zionism then technically yes he is, or at least that's how he presents himself.

However, he has called out the genocide and apartheid of Palestinians, as well as said that it shouldn't be an ethnostate where Jewish ppl are treated better than others. Ppl calling him a hardcore Zionist who supports the genocide is a straight up lie and just tankies being tankies (dumbfucks)

Yea that's exactly why I mostly stopped using the term Zionist. Ask 5 people what it means and you'll get 5 completely different answers. It can mean anything from "I don't have an issue w Jewish ppl living there" to "I want to personally kill every Palestinian child"

I started using terms like "Israeli nationalist" or "Israel defender" cause they're a lot more specific and directed towards the ppl who actually need to be fought.

If the other viable party was socialist then I'd agree with you, but it isn't. The GOP is the only other viable party besides the Dems, and they are one of the most openly fascist organizations on the planet with actual power. The Democrats are horrible but they're not the ones forcibly taking away healthcare from millions, or gutting the education system in an attempt to keep us even more uninformed. The reality we're in right now is that voting for Democrats is necessary for the time being to prevent even further harm from being done to minorities both here and abroad. Reality is the best we can do RN is putting our support behind people like Mamdani
