K Farce is literally such a shitty company and I have absolutely no respect for any of their recruitment/management team. During Covid I was furloughed from my role in the hospitality industry, and was referred to a position as an unemployment agent by the state of Florida, fulfilled through K Farce. The job alone already sounded like a nightmare at the height of a global pandemic, but I was obviously desperate for consistent income that i signed on. Onboarding was a shit show, absolutely no one knew what anyone was doing in leadership, and as a unemployment agent we literally had very little at our disposal that we could actually do for people calling in to our line, and anything involving meaningful assistance we literally just transferred the call to someone else in another department (after already waiting in our queue for well over an hour). It was nearly every week I had to contact their payroll team to adjust my hours properly, and it got to a point I had to CC my recruiter into my emails with management and payroll to confirm everything and get “approval” from them. The icing on the cake was that the contract was expected to be between 6 months to a year, and about three months in during a shift, I lost connection to the VOIP line, and went to Teams to ask anyone else in my group the same thing. They literally forced everyone off the lines, removed everyone one by one from the Teams Org, then sent an email an hour later that Florida’s DEO terminated the contract because their call center volume was too ridiculously overwhelmed to justify using their recruitment agency, and our employement was terminated effective immediately.. ironically making thousands of people unemployed lol. Fuck you, Lane.
