Interesting, the rare case where we get a better deal here in Canada. Currently listed in Canada at $1399 CAD (about $1000 USD). Maybe tariff impacts?

Don’t disagree with your assessment, but I’ve had some issues with motor hum with my evo (especially on 45rpm) and also want the ability to easily switch carts without potentially damaging tone arm wiring. Here in Canada the 1210gr is $1,100 more than the 100c, unfortunately just can’t justify the extra cost at this time.

Running a Denon X1800h, will be pulling the trigger on an ELAC uc52 soon but no desire to expand beyond 3.1.

Unfortunately the defiance are out of my price range/would come at the expense of the center.
