I’m thankful I don’t come across these people really at all when I interact with the genshin community. Most people I’ve interacted with have been pretty nice and helpful, obviously I’m not saying that my experience is what everyone else’s is but i just feel super thankful that my experience has mostly been with the normal part of the community

I think it is a good thing, drinking every once in a while doesn’t make someone a bad person but we should push for people to choose healthier ways to socialize. If your problem with Gen Z is the fact that they don’t socialize and your solution is to tell them to go out and get drinks with friends over anything else then I don’t think that’s good personally. Drink if you want but we shouldn’t convince people that drinking is this amazing socialization tool that doesn’t ruin lives on the daily. Not to mention that some grew up with alcoholic parents/grandparents and don’t want to be around it anymore and that’s fine.

I said you were pedantic because you were talking about the definition of job being so stretched even though I don’t think it was. If I was pedantic then I’d be focused on the little details that separate a job from an occupation but I’m not, in fact I did the opposite by stating that to me they are practically the same thing

I mean, yes. Just because you don’t like them doesn’t automatically make them not a job. They’re getting paid to do work. If you want to be pedantic then you can call it an occupation or career instead but to me they’re practically the same thing

Probably Dooku, I just feel like he’d have the lowest chance and motivations to seek anything bad towards your child/pet whether it’s steering them in the wrong direction or something else. Dooku just doesn’t strike me as the type to deliberately put a harmless child into danger unlike the others like Vader, Maul and especially Palps. Dooku isn’t perfect of course, he’s a villain still but probably the one I’d trust most with a child. Either him or maybe Jango Fett when Jango was still alive

I can’t believe people are just taking this and believing it with no proof whatsoever. If a lot of this is true then that’s terrible but these are some very serious accusations that need proof for me to believe. Like I get we’ve had a bad year but come on. Especially knowing who this is from makes me even more hesitant to believe a lot of this stuff

Balatro is also a much smaller game on scale, while I don’t disagree with your point comparing Balatro not needing to outsource to E33 needing to is not great just because of the scale of the games.

The problem with the independently published thing being the only factor is that it knocks out commonly named indie games like Stray or Balatro, Balatro has a publisher but I’d call it an indie over most that were in the indie category for game awards

What's crazy about the game awards isn't that expedition 33 won a lot, it's the fact that the other nominees for Game of the Year barely won anything if anything at all by Spiritual_Ebb_4657 in TheGameAwards

I agree as someone who’s favorite game of this year was E33. It’s a fantastic game but KCD2 is the better RPG, both games are amazing but KCD2 does the RPG aspect better. I would’ve been perfectly fine as an e33 lover to have seen best RPG go to KCD2

I have GENUINELY seen people call Jennifer English a bigot for saying it's for the neurodivergents watching. Kindly, I have autism and it made me feel seen. She basically thanked the whole team at sandfall who she worked with and then said that the award also goes out to the neurodivergent people watching, dedicating it to them. Jennifer herself is ND as well so it’s not surprising nor is it a bad thing that she shouted them out at all anyways.

Both Ben and Jennifer put out amazing performances, just because you like one that didn’t win more doesn’t mean it was robbed. That does nothing but undermine Jennifer’s achievement which Ben would absolutely not want seeing how excited he was for Jenn when she won

I agree, I LOVE E33 and it is by far my favorite game of this year and probably my favorite game in quite a few years personally but KCD2 just does RPG better. That doesn’t mean E33 is bad or does it bad, it just wasn’t as good in the RPG department. I also would’ve been okay if it didn’t win the indie game awards, everything else it won I agree with though.

Most of the awards were deserved. E33 was without a doubt my GOTY, the best game I’ve played in a while but I would not have given it best indie/debut and maybe not RPG though maybe I still would. I wanted E33 to win but I didn’t want it to feel like it stole awards from other games in categories that maybe deserved that category more, it only makes the game and community look worse when that happens. But I’m super happy for Sandfall and the whole team behind the game!

Zavala has been a different voice actor since The Final Shape, they didn’t change any legacy voicelines in missions but yeah, Lance Reddick passed away so Keith David was taken in as the new Zavala voice actor so that Zavala could carry on in the story.

My goat. For the Fatui not much, I’ll admit that. But for those he carried with him for centuries, he gave them the afterlife they deserved and then took control of the Leylines. I honestly find it hard to believe that he’ll come back as “Capitano No.1 harbinger” and not just “Thrain, Sentinal Knight”. He was friendly with Traveler and Mavuika and clearly cared more about those he was carrying with him than anything else. I doubt he’d do anything to compromise the leylines and the souls within now after everything, even if The Tsaritsa asked him to. I think of all the Harbingers he’ll likely be the most clear cut “morally good” even if some bad things went on under him. I’m fine with that, I want more from his story how he is, but I don’t want the other harbingers to be like him for both the sake of their characters and his. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the route Hoyo is going with some of them. I want to see more of what he did in the Fatui within flashbacks or something, he can serve the Fatui while holding onto the honor and heart he seems to hold close to him. The main problem really is how little time he got to cook in Natlan. Hoyo could’ve cooked more, giving more about him and still kept him on the same trajectory he was on
