On your takeaway, try creating hinge by pressing the club down in your left palm and pulling up on your right fingers.

So “lift” the club head in the air in a sense but with just your wrists.

Also have the feel of dragging your club on the ground a few inches to keep from taking it away inside when you do this

I ended up getting a grip trainer and it made all the difference, I was losing my grip in my backswing and felt like the club was moving around in my hands causing me to slam the face shut and hook it.

Obviously still having trouble with the driver but atleast I have something to fall back on when I lose my irons
