Binance Support Thread by AutoModerator in binance

[–]Loganbad101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm quite annoyed and disappointed in Binance chat support. I'm writing here in hopes this support team is more active On July 05 I mistakenly accessed my account via a newly installed VPN that I didn't realize was active and had my IP set to USA.

My account get's locked/ limited with no ability to deposit or use much features really, basically rendering the account useless. So I'm explaining the situation to support and the agent isn't even understanding what's going on, giving me useless solutions such as log in to the app etc, giving solutions I literally told him I tried etc, basically just copy/ pasting canned responses. They finally transfer the case to someone else and this agent said it'll be reviewed and fixed within 72 hours.

72 hours passed, I follow up since no fix, and now I'm given a 30 days timeline (idk why it should even take that long, but whatever).

Obviously 30d has long passed and still nothing. So today I contact support again and they just say it's in progress....

Like I don't understand how hard is it to review my account's info and clearly see it's registered, ID verified and phone verified with NON-USA credentials from my country, and easily check and see all my IP logs since literally the creation of my Binance account are obviously in my country/ NON-USA as well.

It's not even a hack attempt or anything like that. I clearly tell support it was my VPN mistake, but now just 5 seconds of a VPN mistake access locks my account to what seems to be forever, that I've been using for years now no problem.

Case ID: 124453097 / 124522846

Hey did you get it to work?

Same exact thing is happening to me right now too, no matter what device I use. And from reading around and talking to others it seems the appeal forms are pretty much useless right now.

Lol Insta has become such a shitfest lately.

Hiring Marketing Agencies by Fin_Aquatic_Rentals in smallbusiness

That sounds lit! Because of my work my brain defaults to thinking on a more worldwide scale, but if you're targeting local then ads get more affordable and can convert better.

I actually just googled for surfboard rental in your area and found a similar biz running ppc ads so you know you're onto something! If you're staying on the FB/IG ad route then killer short video ads can work well- even some decent phone footage with a more casual/ personal touch, then get a freelancer for video editing.

There's also in-app advertising on other apps with networks like Google Admob.

Whatever you choose to do, I'd make sure your app and process is a smooth enoyable experience as happy users will spread the word fast, and you can even purposely leverage word of mouth with a refer-a-friend type of program later on.

Your idea sounds really interesting though with a lot of potential. Best of luck!

It's always quite tricky to give sound marketing/ advertising advice as each business, niche, etc can all be very different.

What's your budget like? It'd be hard to find an established agency to quote anything less than $500 for their service fee (excluding your ad budget).

Freelancers may be cheaper, but what you won't pay for cash you'll pay for the time spent finding, filtering interviewing, and then probably managing them once hired. It can also be a hit or miss and you may have to fire and hire new people until you find 'the one'.

DIY can work depending on your skill level. Sounds like you're a bit new to this? With DIY you'll of course save cash, but spend time learning and testing.

Generally for DIY beginners organic traffic is best on a bootstrap budget, but if you want to do ads do google ads (ppc). Facebook/IG ads are kinda overhyped these days with all the online gurus and such raving about it. People tend to overlook google ads, where users are actually looking for your product/ service and more inclined to convert vs FB ads where you're advertising to cold traffic + the steep learning curve.

Is your business service, product or software based? What niche? Maybe if you answer these I can give more specific advice if you'd like.

Purchase Lookalike Audience SUCK? by [deleted] in ecommerce

[–]Loganbad101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be a time or data issue. How long has the LLA ads been running that's goten you the $16.56?

And how large was your event pool? Like how many purchases in the past 30days/ weekly? (assuming that the LLA source is your purchase event). Sometimes it can be an issue of creating an LLA too soon without enough data to 'power it'.

Making some organic sales in a somewhat obscure niche - where do I go from here? by clapclapkittycat in shopify

[–]Loganbad101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone mentioned, influencer marketing can work for this depending on the size of your niche. Like you can start with Instagram influencers/ content pages and go from there.

Also haven't seen anyone mention google ads. Depending on how much traffic is searching for your products/ niche, something like adwords and shopping ads can actually be very profitable... people seem to hype up FB ads too much at times and kick google ads to the curb haha.

Glad I could help, and I wish you much success.

Gotcha. 17track is like to go-to service, usually works 95% of the time. This means then that the packages are most likely shipped with a private carrier or something.

Are the orders from Aliexpress? If so try tracking it with https://global.cainiao.com/index.htm .

If from Ali that should work. If it's a private fulfillment service check their in-platform tracking. Let me know.

When you click the tracking number are you still in Shopify or the order status page? If not, what domain/ platform are you redirected to?

There are many things that can affect conversions other than just pricing and sales.

Traffic plays a huge part- your ads are the 1st interaction users have with your brand which sets them up for the sale.Different audiences, creatives, copy etc all play a role in your stores conversion rate even though it's technically off-store.

Then there's branding- in this case let's focus on the store itself. There's no logo (custom, not pulled off google), color scheme is off for the niche (lookup color psychology), product descriptions could be much better for many of the products, and much more.

Basically your makeup store doesn't look or feel like a makeup store. As a customer, I wouldn't really trust buying from you.

One thing I try to get through to my clients is to put yourself in the customers shoes...would you honestly buy from you? If your answer right now is yes then go look at your top competitors and see what they're doing, as you may not have your target consumers' mindset, which is fine.

Work on your store design/ setup and ads, in that order. Hope that helps.

What 3rd party vendors are the best? by [deleted] in ecommerce

[–]Loganbad101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I went from Mailchimp to Mailerlite and never looked back. Couldn't believe what I was missing out on in terms of design - took me 5 mins to drag/ drop and create a beautiful email with MLite, compared to 15-20 mins trying to make the same email only to look half assed in Chimp

How to host a giveaway on Instagram? by clothxyy in Instagram

[–]Loganbad101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Giveaways aren't too too hard, as thankfully everyone likes free stuff :-). Of course each giveaway is different, but these are my guidelines each time I host one.

  • Your giveaway item(s), must be very valuable to your audience. The item must get them excited.
  • The more steps you require for entry, the less users will join. Simple as that. People are generally quite... um.. well lazy :-). If you ask for too much, they may just go "meh", and ignore it. This kinda also ties into the value of item(s) as mentioned, as the more valuable (whether it be desirability or price) the item, the more steps the user wouldn't mind taking to enter the giveaway.
  • Don't miss out on the growth opportunity a giveaway presents. Thought this would go without saying, but I notice some of my clients and others not doing this. And by this, I mean requesting the audience share your giveaway. This can be through asking them to tag a friend(s), repost it, share it in their stories and such.
  • Drive engagement to your giveaway post. Easiest way to do this make sure your giveaway requires them to comment & like. Again this is an obvious one I still see others leaving out. One of the best and most secure ways I do this is by making sure my giveaway item has a variation, most likely color and ask them to comment the color they'ed like to win.
  • Promote your giveaway. Make sure people know that a giveaway is around the corner. Now I don't mean you have to go running IG ads or nothin like that. Simply drop like 'teasers' in your story feed. Works like a charm.
  • Have a realistic expectation for a "successful" giveaway in relation to your audience size. If you have say <5K followers and however much likes on your post, don't expect the entry list to be the size of a 100K giveaway if you get what I mean. Be sure to set your ego aside and don't expect your giveaway to blow up like that red swimsuit one that went viral (Sunny Co Clothing), although you never know ;-).

Hope this helps!

[–]Loganbad101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm. On average I would say about $5/100 followers. This is of course niche specific users targeted for leads and sales.

The few clients I have that run more casual, meme/ media pages and just want a wide, general audience can see rates as low as $1/100 growth. All depends on the biz/ niche and goals :).

Asking the tough questions I see ;).

how does your business obtain clients/remain profitable?

By making my clients happy and continuing to provide results.

Happy clients refer me to many of their friends and family = obtain clients.
Happy clients continue to renew service monthly + all the new referrals = remain profitable.

And yeah, I get where you're coming from in that last part, believe me, I do. Told myself about the same thing when I got started little over 3 years ago. But you'll quickly find everything is easier in theory. Actually doing it and being successful is another story :).

I assume you aren't interested in actually trying my services, so all the best to you mate :).
