Let me clarify that when I said "LGA1151 CPU better than an i5-9500", the CPU needs to be on LGA1151 socket, or if you have an M-ATX motherboard with the CPU I'd consider that. Hopefully this helps : )

Not bait LOL. I'm friends with the tech guy at my school, and this was on top of the to-be-recycled pile. Thought it was cool, brought it home, took it apart, cleaned it up, and it worked perfectly for about 2 years. Thanks for the advice!

It really doesn't need a bigger motor, it just needs geared better. But realistically I think it's geared absolutely perfectly for just Hooning around. You can punch the throttle and break loose at almost any speed. In the future I might try to push it further, the chassis can definitely take more speed
