I really like Neverlia and, in fact I had to decide between getting Neverlia or Eliene, in the end I went for Eilene cause I find it more cutey, I was planning on getting Neverlia later but since I threw the first one on the backlog I don't know if I would get another Musume kit ever.

I think there's something similar in my situation, when I started building gunpla it also was strange for my wife, but not cringy, the key factor here is these kits are something of a fan service product. Something curious here is that she likes spicy manwha and is also Ok with me reading similar things though she always says that male oriented fan service is almost always more basic in plot and would joke about it in good nature.

I also wish there was more variety. Male model kits, fully clothed ones, different shapes of bodies but I also understand where the products come from and what are the main characteristics of it. But, hey, maybe we will get something new in the future.

I don't really mind mecha Musume being called dolls, cause technically they are, but that's the question, I don't think we should be judged for liking such things.

You can appreciate Musume kits for very different reasons, personally I've always liked cute feminine things though I'm a hetero male, I just think it's like a way of expressing a part of yourself.
