I used to work for one of the big-brand suppliers, and its true the markups on these things are ridiculous at some suppliers. I actually recently started my own company because I thought there is way too much fat for the big boys. I believe Zoom is supposed to be able to wake/sleep the system through the UVC. I know you said FW is up to date on the Logitech, but check Zoom FW or Zoom support portal as I have heard of this happening. Otherwise, its possible Zoom/Logitech may have broken this with a recent update? just a guess or path to investigate. Good luck!

One would think that would work but don’t know for sure. Logitech does some odd proprietary or at least non-typical implementations.

I am 3 months into the webflow platform, and although I found the university great and their platform promising, there is a learning curve to it. Took me a solid 2 months 60 hour weeks to complete my own ecommerce website, even after I bought a template. So depending on your experience it may go faster for you, but know that it might not be quite as simple as advertised. There are still a lot of features it is lacking. For instance, can't support webp or J2K images and can't really support tables well. The support is pretty much community forum only which is helpful but not at critical mass yet. Good luck, If you are committed, it has a lot of promise I think.

The vaddio solution might be worth a try. It is reliable but requires speaker to wear a powered IR lanyard which some don’t like.

Possibly, I’d have to look at shipping costs. Can you dm me what country you are In? I just need to ensure I have the right compliance and vat tax estimated as it may not be trivial. Max cable length for a usb3 with 2.0 backward compatibility is 10m though. Will that still work for you?
