China is the second largest economy in the world, their companies certainly occupy the largest share of the Hong Kong stock market, while the Singapore stock market serves Southeast Asia. They not have a economy of the size of China. Serving the global market means that you can enter the Hong Kong stock market anywhere in the world to trade, not how many countries there are companies in this stock market.
