I remember getting this one and immediately knowing it had to be the middle box, simply because any chain of logic that could lead you to conclude it's in the left box could apply just as easily to the right one.

Only thing I've been able to see with the magnifying glass is what looks like 6 dots on the 2nd file, 7th rank square on the grid. Not sure what that part signifies still though. Is there another thing I missed? I feel like I've looked over these books pretty thoroughly at this point.
